Main Description
The apartment has a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and a twin bedroom. The bathroom, shower room and kitchen have been recently refurbished. The living area is set up to seat 4 people comfortably, and there is the capacity to extend the dining table, and to bring the outside chairs inside when entertaining. We have furnished the apartment for our own comfort, and we hope that our clients will find that it is "home-from-home". The balcony provides stunning views over the rooftops and out to sea, and from the comments we have had over the years, this is a favourite spot for our guests!
There is a management company on site, who oversee the cleaning and laundry, and will deal with any problems which arise.
The entrance to the apartment is through an archway into a small private garden area. This area can be a nice retreat in the mid-day heat, or if there is a north wind blowing.

Tirant Bay is used in winter, and after a Summer Tramontana by windsurf enthusiasts - but it is only for the very experienced!
Fornells Bay has a small windsurf and sailing school, with experienced instructors. Those who can prove their competance can hire equipment for four sessions at a time.
We are within walking distance of Menorca Sailing, which is an RYA acredited School, run form the UK. For a serious sailing or windsurfing week, you must book in advance. They don't hire out equipment.

The El Alcor appartment forms part of the Playas de Fornells urbanisation, on the unspoiled north coast of Menorca.
We overlook Tirant Bay towards a series of headlands, to the lighthouse at Cavalaria. There are supermarkets and restaurants within easy walking distance, as is the wide sandy beach at Tirant.
Just a few kilometres away is Fornells, which is a delightful fishing village which has grown into a small tourist area. It has many good restaurants. Fornells Bay is an almost landlocked bay, and as such is ideal for sailing and windsurfing. Diving and water-skiing are also available.
A car is recommended, as public transport is infrequent.
There are about 7 steps to access the apartment.

High Season Price : £525 per Week


We ask for a 20% non-returnable deposit to secure the rental, and the balance two months before the start date. payment may be by cheque or electronic transfer. We provide receipts which cna be submitted for an insurance claim if that becomes necessary. On receipt of the balance, we will send you the keys, directions, and other useful information.
