LOCATION
Situated on a hill 36 km from Palma, the little village of Buger dominates a large area of the island’s north. The old windmills, narrow streets and hundred-years-old houses give it its picturesque character. With only 900 habitants Buger is a quiet village where life passes peacefully.
Its excellent situation allows you to be in a few minutes in Puerto de Pollença, Playa de Muro, Puerto de Alcudia and the golf courses of Aucanada and Pollença.
Finca“Sa Tafona” is a magnificent country estate of 7000m2 on the southern hillside of Búger. From the splendid garden built in terraces you have an exceptional view. Orange and lemon trees, cypresses and other autochthonic plants form its privileged surroundings. From the pool and barbecue area you can enjoy the beauty of Majoca’s countryside.
THE HOUSE
It was an antic oil mill when olive trees were planted surrounding the village.Finca Sa Tafona has been beautifully restored to offer a unique property full of charm. The cobblestone floors, some inner stone walls, terracotta tiles add to the true character of this delightful farmhouse.
The restoration has been done with extremely care and good taste to keep the ancient character of the building.
The spacious accommodation is tastefully furnished. Inner stone walls complement the relaxing ambience. Antique furnitures combine perfectly with modern amenities.
Very Spacious living room, charming dining room very well equipped kitchen for ambitious hobby cooks a complete bathroom and utility room are at the ground floor.
Four double rooms, two complete bathrooms, a library are on the first floor.
The kidney shaped, swimming pool is surrounded by comfortably furnished sun terraces and a lawned areas. One very special feature is the flagstone terrace with quiet seating areas shaded by ancient trees for a total relax while admiring the far reaching views.
