From every aspect of the house there are stunning views of the mountains covered in pine trees and ancient olive terraces, and of the valley below with its luscious orange and lemon groves.
Inside:
Bedroom 1: super king-sized bed, large French doors overlooking valley, skylight window, built-in wardrobes.
Bedroom 2: double bed, en-suite, door to barbecue terrace.
Bedroom 3: bunk beds, toddler bed (plus 2 baby cots), door to barbecue terrace.
Bathroom 1: (newly fitted) with bath/shower over, wc, double sink unit.
Bathroom 2: (newly fitted en-suite to bedroom 2) with shower, wc.
Kitchen: open-plan kitchen/breakfast room (highchair available). Glass pane door to sunny tiled terrace and lawn.
Lounge and separate dining room: Furnished with antique Asian and Mallorquín furniture. Skylights, glass sliding doors to balcony/terrace, ceiling fans, TV, DVD player, wide selection of DVDs/novels, CD stereo system, grand piano, family dining table.
Outside:
The house itself is located in a sunny and elevated position within the valley where you can enjoy cool breezes through the sliding glass doors to the living and dining rooms. There is plenty of tasteful outdoor furniture, including a very comfortable hammock in the shade - the perfect place to take your siesta. The three extensive terraces around the house provide the ideal spots for al fresco meals, relaxing with a book or enjoying a glass of wine in the evenings while distant sheep bells echo through the valley. The cottage is set within a landscaped garden of citrus, olive, and palm trees, and is totally enclosed by traditional drystone walls covered with wisteria and bougainvillea. There is a lawn area and a further 3000sq.m of olive terraces around the house. In addition there is a parking area.
Pool area: private wooden above ground splash pool (5m diameter x 132cm depth) surrounded by wooden decking with sun loungers. Tastefully fenced off for the safety of children.
Coast/Beach:
The unspoilt Soller coast and Tramuntana Mountains attract visitors who enjoy hiking, beautiful beaches and peaceful natural settings. From the cottage you can access the signposted hiking trail (partly coastal) between Deiá and Soller without even getting into the car.
Cala Deia (20 mins drive, 1.5 hr hike): pebble beach/cove.
Llucalcari (10 mins drive, 1 hr hike): pebble/rocky beach with mossy ledges to dive off.
Port Soller (5 mins drive, 40 mins hike): beautiful sandy beach, promenade.
Sóller Town:
Sóller is a historic market town, only 20 minutes from the island’s capital Palma, nestled amidst orange and lemon groves between the turquoise Mediterranean sea with its hidden coves and beaches, and the olive-terraced mountains with their ancient honey-coloured stone villages.
Region:
The dramatic and rural Tramuntana Mountains make the region a varied and interesting place to visit in all seasons, especially if you like to walk and cycle. There are many little villages in the area to explore such as Fornalutx, Deiá, Llucalcari and Biniaraix, and the year round local festivals and traditions in each town and village are particularly special to experience.

Golf:
The nearest golf course is Son Termens (15 minutes drive).
The cottage is suitable for families with small children. The cottage is powered entirely by solar panels, and there is a water deposit which is filled by rainwater (or truckloads of water in summer), treated by an ultraviolet light system. Therefore, we urge our guests to be aware of water and light consumption. We request that appliances with high voltage are not used at the property.
