Son Siurana is the result of the refurbishment of an ancient agricultural and cattle farm based on creating independent houses from the old agricultural premises which once were used for the produce of almonds, fig and carob trees and for sheep breeding.  
Nowadays these activities are still carried out on the farm.Its location on the slope of a hill it is a very special place dominating the landscape.Son Siurana’s decoration is characterised by the conservation of the Mallorcan style with antique bead-heads, fabrics of Mallorcan motifs, hand-painted ceramics, rosettes, lime-washed walls, domed ceilings, beams, “resplandit” windows, etc. All the furniture is antique and has been recently restored in order to give each of the houses the warmth and charm of olden times. 

Son Siurana has a hall and a patio with a chimney, an ecological vegetable garden and a forest.

Birdwatching is an important one. The Albufera Alcudia, Natural Park albufera is just located at the opposite mountain. Many birds can be found at Son Siurana´s natural lagoons. In terms of wildlife, birds are the most notable animal, with over 230 species, making Albufera a unique spot for bird-watching, with specially built hides within the park. Amongst the species that nest here are coots, moorhens, blue-crowned conures etc. Among the migratory birds are flamingos, and amongst the birds which spend winter here are wild ducks. Fish are present in abundance, such as eels, which are highly regarded. 
Golf, hiking, hand-gliding, diving, sailing, kayak and cycling are some of other activities.
