Sa Cala is a beautiful stone-built villa in a quiet area of Mallorca, recently renovated throughout, and surrounded by lovely countryside. It is set in a large plot of over 2 acres, with mature trees, creating a private setting for a relaxed holiday. The villa is surrounded by traditional terracing, with an 8x5 pool, tables, chairs, day bed and sun loungers. 10 minute walk to the lovely local beach, where there are facilities for sailing, windsurfing and a gently shelving beach ideal for family bathing. Inside, the villa is furnished by the owners with tasteful Mallorcan furniture, plus beautiful bathrooms and a modern kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is a TV/DVD player and MP3 connection, and a wide selection of games and books for whiling away a relaxed evening under the stars. There are 3 top quality golf courses nearby, and the towns of Cala Rajada and Capdepera offer facilities such as local markets, trendy nightclubs, horse riding and tennis.

Day Bed: A beautiful feature of the house is a day bed by the pool - it has been lovinlyg crafted with relaxtion and enjoyment in mind - somewhere to lie in the sun, in the shade of watch the stars and also tables either side for that glass of wine.

Tennis: This area is famous for its tennis clubs, where Nadal and Kornikova have trained (Nadal comes from Manacor, which is nearby). The tennis Club Aquiat provides 15 courts, with paddle tennis courts, and an excellent club house serving drinks and meals throughout the day and evening. Special music nights on Mondays are a particular favorite in high season. Tennis is available throughout the year.

Golf: The 3 golf courses nearby are Canyamel, Capdepera and the Mallorcan PGA Open course at Pula. All are top quality courses, with beautiful holes set into the hills and local scenery, & views to the sea. Each also has an excellent restaurant and bar for relaxing with friends in a fantastic setting. They are within 5-15 minutes drive, and hence this is a great location for a golf holiday or for those who enjoy a round while away.

The historical towns of Capdepera and Arta both have walled castles, and many sites of interest. Cala Rajada is a lovely harbour town, with a wide range of bars & restaurants.

Rental Details in British Pounds.
Per night: £145 - £160
Weekly prices are for 7 day rentals from 3.00 pm on the first day to 10.00 am on the last day. Different arrangements can be made (5 days, 7 days, 9 days, 11 days, 17 days, 19 days etc.), see daily prices. A 50 % deposit is required to secure the booking, with the balance due six weeks before arrival. A separate £250 returnable security deposit is required with the final rental payment & will be returned in full if no damage or loss has occurred. Prices include water, gas, electricity, garden, pool maintenance & cleaning. Cleaning, linen and towels (except beach-towels) is done once a week on Saturday with change of linen and towels. Extra cleaning can be arranged and paid for locally. We are already taking bookings for 2011 so early booking is recommended.

I can't recommend this villa highly enough. We had a fantastic holiday in this truly beautiful property. The whole villa is presented to a very high standard with large bedrooms (two with ensuites), extremely comfy lounge (with all the gadgets you need) and the gorgeous terrace that sweeps the width of the villa where we spent many hours eating and drinking and gazing at the amazing views. But the best bit has got to be the large pool....The location is peaceful and rustic and yet its only 20 mins walk to a beach through pine woods and less than a 10 min drive to a buzzy harbour town. Really this place is just perfect and we will be back as soon as we can.

My annual visit to Sa Cala is one of absolute pleasure.
Each year the owners add something new - this year the day bed - a true luxury.
Always well presented and clean with every facility you could want from a first class property.
The minute I step out of the car (pretty essential for the property location) at Sa cala you can feel the stress start to leave the body. Tranquility, beautiful and relaxing are 3 words I would use to describe the location.
For those seaking a good night out close by there is the lively resort of Cala Ratjada, full of cool bars, restuarants etc. The legendary Noah's is the place to be seen.
There are great restaurants near by - the fillet steak at Bamboo is a must!
The near by beach is small but perfectly formed - there are many other superb beaches a short drive away to chose from.
I have recommended the property to many of my friends and every one who has visited it has had the same reaction - Wow! What a holiday.

We have a fantastic time at this finca. It is a perfect place and very relaxing. It is very comfortable and has everything you need and with so much space. My children love it. The pool is perfect and the beach done the road is great. A lovely and safe bay. It is great driving back up the track to the finca - you feel very spoiled by it all. I would highly recommend this finca to everyone. Looking forward to going next year.
