Vacation Rental Description
My holiday apartment sleeps 4 in two twin bedded rooms and has a well fitted kitchen, lounge-diner and modern toilet/shower room. Outside there is a spacious, tranquil garden with barbecue and garden furniture for eating "al fresco" where for most of the time the only sound is the cooing of the doves. However, despite its peaceful location, it is only two minutes walk to the town centre for its bars and restaurants or in the other direction, two minutes walk to the main beach.

Formentera is famous for its wonderful white sand beaches and crystal clear water and all of the island's beaches are within 10-15 minutes by car. Many of the beaches on Formentera may be considered "naturist" as for many years, swimming costumes have been considered optional on Formentera. However, costumes are always required on the main beach at Es Pujols and anywhere in close proximity of a bar or restaurant. Naturism on Formentera however, is somewhat different to other "nudist beaches" in that there is no pressure or obligation to go nude and clothed and unclothed happily share the same beaches without offence or embarrassment. In fact it all seems so natural here that many find themselves discarding their own costumes whereas they may never have done so before.
Formentera is also very popular for diving or snorkelling as the crystal clear water and abundant sea life make it superb for diving with visibility of up to 50m underwater! Someone snorkelling can easily be fooled by the clarity of the water to think you can dive down from the surface to pick up a nice looking shell only to find that it is so far down to it that you can't reach it!
The island is served by a multitude of restaurants catering for all styles and prices, from the elegant and expensive restaurants around the yacht harbour or at some of the beaches popular with the boating jet set, to the simple beach tavernas or the snack bars in La Sabina or Es Pujols.

The apartment is two minutes walk to Es Pujols beach where all of the watersports are available. In the other direction a similar two minutes walk takes you to the resort centre for shops, restaurants and night club. Bike hire is available from Agustin Bike and Scooter hire in the centre of the resort.
Owner Location Comment
This must be one of the most convenient locations in Es Pujols. It is in a quiet, tranquil cul-de-sac, has its own garden that backs onto woodland and yet is just a few minutes walk to either the town centre or to the beaches. You do not even have the need for transport as most things are in walking distance and the regular bus service approximately every half hour, provides contact with much of the rest of the island. Prices shown are for occupancy by two persons. A small supplement applies for each additional person per night. Please e-mail for an exact quote for the number of persons and the dates required. To confirm a reservation a deposit of 25% of the total is required; the balance is payable on arrival in Formentera. All prices are in Euros, however, arrangements can be made for residents from the Stirling area to pay the stirling equivalent by cheque in the UK. Please ask for details. For the Easter period June prices apply. These are the prices for 6 nights or more. For shorter periods, please e-mail for a quotation. Bookings for periods shorter than 6 nights are normally only accepted outside the peak season and where gaps between other bookings have occured.

I have looked after these properties for three years as an informal agent for two Spanish friends who my wife and I have known for years. Because of their incredible hospitality inviting us over and over again to visit them on Formentera, I looked for a way to "balance the equation" and so do this foc.
As one friend has little English and the other is inexperienced on the internet, I decided to set up web sites and other advertising opportunities for them to help to let their properties. This has proved very successful with 2010 being the best year ever, virtually fully booked for the entire season.
We are both fanatics about Formentera having visited for about 25 years (not every year though) and got to know many of the people there. It is something special going into a bar or restaurant and instantly being welcomed back, or greeted with delight by the check-out girls at the supermarkets and then there are the beaches - the best we have seen just about anywhere!
