Travel Options
- Nearest Airport : Asturias (OVD) at 70 kilometers distance;
- Nearest Train Station : Nava, Asturias at 6 kilometers distance
- Nearest Town : Nava (a small town) at 6 kilometers distance
- Travel Info: BY ROAD: On the A-64 motorway, take the Exit 14 (Lieres-Nava-Infiesto-Arriondas), located between the exits to La Secada (towards Oviedo) and Sariego (towards Santander). The old Oviedo-Santander road is accessed after Exit 14, and after 6 km we arrive to Nava, where the AS-251 road must be taken (from the main road, to the right, see the Bimenes road sign), which leads directly to Bimenes. Shortly after the town of San Julian we will find the school, and right after a signalled road leading to the villages of La Carbayal and La Fontanina. Through this road, 150 m from the school, to the left, the entrance to La Caseria del Palacio can be found. If getting to Nava from the Arriondas/Infiesto area, or through the N-634 road, we will have to cross the town of Nava until taking the AS-251 turn, always from the main road, now to the left side. A different route will lead us to Bimenes from El Entrego through the AS-17 and AS-338 roads or from Barredos (Laviana) through the AS-17 and AS-251 roads. Both routes, very winding, go through beautiful landscape but providing a more difficult access than taking the previously suggested ways. If coming from Barredos or El Entrego, we will find the way taking us to La Caseria del Palacio turning left just after Bimenes City Hall, and just before the school.
