Vacation Rental Description
Casita Naranja is situated in Válor in the Alpujarras, south of Granada. The casita is built on the estate of Casa Naranja about 80 yards from the main building, villa Naranja which was built in 2002 in a traditional styl and designed by the owners, Aad and Wilma. Wilma makes jewelry and Aad is a translator. Casa Naranja has a separate small house (Casita) and a nice studio to rent. Both the Casita and Studio Casa Naranja are perfect places for a shorter or longer holiday, to change the dark winter days in northern Europe for the Andalusian sun or just to read some of those books that are waiting for you on your bookshelves. 
Válor is a laid-back, friendly village with a lot of services. The surrounding area has many stunning walks. Válor is blessed with a nice mini climate, with a lot of sun in winter as well as in summer. In summer you can visit the public swimming pool, which is only two minutes from the casita. The Mediterranean is an hour’s drive and both Granada and Almeria can be visited in a daytrip 
 
Casita Naranja has two bedrooms, one with a double and one with a twin bed. The open plan living with the American kitchen is very light with windows on three sides. There is a nice porche with stunning views towards the south.  
On the estate there is small pool for residents.  
The casita has internet connection, television, radio, wood burner and a fully-equipped kitchen. In combination with the studio of Casa Naranja (see Studio Naranja), the casita is ideal for two couples who value their privacy. Shops,bars and restaurants are within walking distance.

    • The casita is only a few walking minutes from supermarkets, bars and restaurants. It has a adsl-internet connection and tdt-television. The swimming pool is small, but perfect to cool down after a nice walk or to have a drink in the late afternoon sun.

    • Golf courses are near the coast, 1 hour drive. 
    The environment is perfect for trained cyclists, both for mountainbiking as normal road cycling; note that all the roads are steep. There are plenty of restaurants in the village and on reasonable driving distance. More spacial food you can find on the coast, 1 hour by car.
