This heritage house is above all practical. Its flavour comes from the heritage of various generations of two English families; this mixed in with the recent work of one of the worlds great portrait painters. Antonio Montiel has had the honour of painting HM The Queen of England, European and Arabian Royal Families and a long list of celebrities www.antoniomontiel.biz . This might all sound very classical but the antiques will not prevent you from enjoying the luxury. The house is in the old part of an agricultural village a step from the two of the greatest renaissance towns that exist in Europe: Ubeda – Beaza ( World Heritage Towns ). You can visit an olive oil press or just walk through the miles of olives. Not far is Europe’s largest natural park; Cazorla; where you swim in the rivers and get to grips with nature. In another nature reserve can be found the Virgin of the Cabeza; she is Spain’s most ancient and revered saint. In the summer millions collect to pay their respect when the plain below the shrine converts into a sea of tents.
