Vacation Rental Description
Recently built 3 bedroom villa (sleeps 6) in a delightfully remote, countryside location surrounded by cultivated farmland and Mediterranean forest. All modern conveniences and décor is warm and cheerful. Private fenced off pool. 
 
Accommodation: 
Bedroom 1 and 2 with double beds. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Two bathrooms (one en suite) with bath/shower over, wc, bidet. 
Open plan kitchen, dining, living room. Modern and fully equipped with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, juicemaker, electric coffee machine, and complete supply of crockery. Washing machine (placed in bathroom). 
Open plan living, dining room with two comfortable sofas (2+3), dining table with up to 7 chairs. Shelves full of books and guides (in Spanish, Dutch, English and French). Original prints, photos and paintings on the walls give the place a personal touch. 
All linen provided, changed once a week 
 
Nearby village of Arriate provides banks, small supermarkets and other shopping facilities, restaurant and splendid tapas bars. Ronda, just 8km away, has both beauty and history. An inspiration to many, it is one of the most visited towns in Andalucía. 
 
About the owners 
Francis Cobo was born and raised in Ronda. He knows the countryside extremely well and is a passionate nature lover and self-taught organic farmer. Lies Wajer is a Dutch photographer who came to live in Andalucia in 1995. Santiago was born in 1998. They try to live in the valley as self-sufficiently as possible, running a (certified) organic vegetable and fruit garden while offering their - for this purpose built - holiday home to nature lovers, families, bird spotters, hikers, peace seeking couples and anyone who looks for a relaxed place to spend their holidays. And to make communication a bit easier, Francis also speaks English, while Lies is fluent in Dutch, Spanish, English or French and understands German and Portuguese. 
 
Why the owners chose an home in this location 
When they came to live in the valley in 1999, it was a bare plot of land only used for breeding goats. But they immediately recognized its potential and fell in love with the peaceful tranquility that the valley breathes. While trying to make a living and raising their son, over the years and step by step, they have tried to develop the place to be a perfect holiday spot for everyone from all over the world who looks for comfortable holidays. 
 
Unique benefits of the property 
The valley breathes stillness and has a very peaceful feel to it. You will be 'off the world' but still withing walking distance to a lively and pleasant village (Arriate) and only 8kms from the historic town of Ronda. It also lies very central for daytrips to Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba or Malaga. Summers know long warm days and cool nights. And in winter you will breathe the crisp clean air of the Ronda mountains. And because you are surrounded by an organic vegetable garden, you will benefit from the availability of all homegrown produce and fresh eggs. A big plus for families with small children is that you will find the swimming pool safely fenced. And in the house are all the conveniences, like toys, books, high chairs etc.
