This is for all levels and ages run by trained, experienced staff. Just 10 minutes drive by car is the beautiful turquoise Lake Vinuela. This is an easy road to the coast and Torre del Mar with a wide choice of restaurants and Chiringuitos offering freshly caught fish. There is such a wide choice of beaches and things to do so we have listed them with maps and information in the Cortijo. Cortijo El Terral is situated to the north east of Malaga in the region of La Axarquia. It is a designated area of outstanding beauty surrounded by National Parks, a well kept secret between the Mediterranean and the Sierras. Excellent roads are easily accessible to visit Granada(1 hour), Antequera (30 minutes), Ronda and Gibralter (under 2 hours), Cordoba and Seville (2.5 hours)

Our traditional Cortijo is situated in a peaceful location on its own hill surrounded by gardens full of exotic colourful flowers, sweet smelling plants and orange and lemon trees. There are breathtaking panoramic mountain and countryside views of olive and almond trees all the way around and looks south towards the hilltop village of Comares and the sea. The attractive swimming pool sits naturally in the landscape within the garden. We have renovated the Cortijo to a very high standard retaining the features and feeling of this beautiful comfortable home but with all modern facilities. Traditional heavy old doors, wooden shutters, hand made tiled floors and beamed ceilings throughout are part of the unique character and charm of this spacious and special retreat. The interior has been professionally designed with particular attention to detail. For a quiet, tranquil, relaxing stay yet within easy reach of local villages, restaurants, the coast and historic cities then this is for you.
