Vacation Rental Description

This modern spacious apartment which comprises of a large , bright living room with sliding doors leading out into the Courtyard with pool, modern well equipped kitchen, large bedroom with a Kingsize bed & sofa & ensuite & a 2nd Family Bedroom with a double bed & bunk beds which also has access to the Family bathroom, is within 5-15mins walk of several local bars/restaurants and shops, within a short driving distance of the coastal resort of Torre Del Mar with its golf courses and many other leisure opportunities such as the Aqua Park and Go-Karting. For walkers and cyclists alike there is the beautiful Natural Park, which has many picnic areas, barbecues and La Maroma mountain (2065 metres) which has various paths to ascend, depending on your capability as a hiker! Closer to the apartment (15-20 minute walk) is the beautiful Lake Vinuela, which on a sunny day (and there are a lot of those!) shimmers a beautiful turquoise. Here again are many picnic and barbecue areas which the Spanish are fond of as a family get-together. Along the coast can be found Nerja with its Balcon de Europa a popular spot to take coffee. Above Nerja is the quaint whitewashed village of Frigiliana with it's wonderful selection of gift shops for taking home those souvenirs.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The pool is a private pool used by the rental apartment & occasionally by the owners, but generally when guests are out. Children are welcome and baby equipment can be made available on request. Wifi internet access available at 10€ per week. DVD player and music centre available (deposit required).

Patio doors from the living room and the kitchen door both lead on to a large courtyard which is a bright floral sun trap and sheltered from any wind. It has a kidney shape swimming pool, great for family fun or just for cooling down after a spot of sunbathing, walking or cycling! Loungers for pool side sunbathing are available along with parasols for shade. Barbecue, table and chairs are also offered for those alfresco moments eating outside. For those wishing to continue their evening outside there is wall lighting and the swimming pool has it's own light to give that romantic atmosphere!

*There is a ramp to the property with double doors, the bathroom doors are only 60cms wide so would be unsuitable for normal wheelchair access, however we have had a guest with a 'sports' wheelchair.

The village of La Vinuela has a bank with ATM, Supermarket and Medical Centre and several bars and restaurants. In Puente Don Manuel there are English Shops, Butchers, Bars/Restaurants, Fish & Chip Shop, Hairdressers, Boutiques & a small market on Fridays.

The modern kitchen with breakfast bar is fully equipped with electric cooker, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle. Living Rooms: Large bright living room which leads out by sliding doors to the courtyard with pool. The living room has 2 sofas, one of which is a sofa-bed suitable for 2 people, dining table and 4 chairs and a wicker chair. There is Sky TV and WiFi can be available.

At the nearby coastal resort of Torre del Mar (15 mins by car) it is possible to arrange Motor Bike Hire, Car Hire & Cycles.

Coast/Beach: The coast of Torre Del Mar 20kms away, is approx 15 minutes in the car. To the east of Torre are the beaches of Torrox and Nerja, both within 25 minutes drive. Also at Nerja (Maro) are the wonderful underground caves which have guided tours and also concerts in the vast caverns. Above Nerja is the quaint and picturesque traditional white village of Frigliana. To the west of Torre stretch many miles of beaches such as Alamayate Beach, Benagalbon and Rincon de Victoria to name but a few!

Golf: Golf is available at several of the coastal resorts nearby, including Torre Del Mar and Torrox which are 15-20 minutes drive away. Whilst for those that wish to travel inland there is the course at Antequerra just 50 minutes away.

The surrounding area is wonderful for walking, cycling & motorcycling with areas of outstanding beauty. There are many small villages with bars & restaurants offering a warm & friendly welcome. We are iun the fortunate position of being just 15 mins drive from the coast for those that like the beach but also within walking distance of idylic peaceful counrtyside. For those that like to explore by car the scenery can change dramatically within a hour or less journey. We have lived in the area for 4 years & are still finding some woderful places.

Notes on prices: The Prices listed are for up to 4 people, an additional supplement of between £50-£75 (depending on booking time) maybe applied for parties up to 7.
Changeover day: Normal changeover day would be Saturday, however subject to bookings this may be flexible. Arrival time 15.30hrs, departure 10.30hrs unless by prior arrangement.
Booking notes: Deposit of 25% of booking fee (non-refundable) is required to secure booking, balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. Upon arrival a 100€ deposit is required & will be refunded within 7 days of departure, subject to satisfactory inspection.
