Finca Mirlo Blanco sits in its own grounds of some 7 acres high up in the hills close to the village of Guaro commanding the most spectacular views across the almond and olive clad slopes of The Sierra de las Nieves, but at the same time is only 20 minutes from Marbella and the Costa del Sol.

This charming one-bedroomed bodega is attached to, but completely separate from, the owners house ( they are not always in residence) and is extremely private and secluded with its own two patios, one in full sun and the other in the shade.

Steps from the parking area lead you down across the first patio to the front door.This opens onto a charming rustic style kitchen and dining area.The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, gas hob, combination microwave with oven and grill plus a good selection of crockery, glasses and cookware.An archway takes you through to the delightful and comfortable living room where you will find satellite t.v. a video player and music centre.

From the living room a door opens into the double bedroom which has a double brass bed and a very good sized fitted wardrobe.The full bathroom leads off the bed room.

Outside a short path takes you from the shady patio, which is provided with four chairs and a table for alfresco dining, to a patio in full sun where there are sunbeds and a barbeque. A few steps lead you onto the pretty garden where the well maintained swiming pool is set, surrounded by the most wonderful natural scenary.

Finca Mirlo Blanco has been designed and furnished with ease and relaxation in mind and is an excellent combination of comfort and rustic charm. A very efficient gas heater (fuel included) makes this an ideal and cosy winter retreat as well as being a perfect and quite delightful summer holiday home.A good selection of books and videos have been thoughtfully provided.

The village of Guaro is about 1km. away from Finca Mirlo Blanco.It is a typical friendly Andalucian village and here you will be able to find all your daily requirements along with a selection of tapas bars.Monda is a larger village roughly 7 minutes away by car and boasts a Gun and Country Club, a Moorish Castle and a variety of bars and restaurants.

The countryside surrounding Finca Mirlo Blanco offers some beautiful, peaceful and relaxing walks and for bird watching enthusiasts there is much to get excited about as Booted Eagles, Short Toed Eagles, Griffon Vultures, Beeaters and Nightingales are just a few of the species you can expect to see.

The owners live on the premises so are to hand should you require any assistance but they always respect their guests privacy and never use the pool when the have anyone staying. If you tire of all the peace and tranquillity then a 20 minute drive will take you to the cosmopolitan holiday resort of Marbella on the Costa del Sol with all the shops, restaurants, beautiful beaches and night life associated with that area.

Going inland there is yet more to see and explore with the historic town of Ronda, about one and a half hours away plus many picturesque villages and much lovely scenery on the way.

The rate is fully inclusive of all gas, electricity,linen,towels and a welcome pack which includes beer, wine, free range eggs,and some home made produce etc. Change over day is flexible. Enjoy a special evening in at Finca Mirlo Blanco with a home made candle lit dinner especially prepared for you by the owner. The simplest and safest method of payment is either via online transfer from your online account to mine or by an electronic transfer direct from your bank to mine. You can also pay by personal cheque or direct counter payment at any branch of the Abbey Bank, full details sent at the time of booking. You may also pay using paypal but unfortunately as a result of paypal´s charges to the recipient, they make none to the sender, this method incurs a 4% surcharge on all monies sent. However for visitors outside Europe this may still prove the best method.
