This is the real Spain, yet only 40 minutes from the beaches of the Costa del Sol. The historic town of Ronda is approximately 45 minutes drive away and the great cities of Seville, Granada and Cordoba are all under 2 hours drive.
The "pueblo" of Ardales is a typical Andalucian whitewashed village. The village plaza buzzes with life and families sit out enjoying a drink with friends late into the summer evenings. The village has a selection of shops, banks, bars and restaurants.
Ardales is situated at the edge of Ardales National Park which is one of Spain's best kept secrets. The park consists of a series of turquoise lakes set in magnificent mountain scenery ideal for hiking, climbing, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, bird watching etc. Sunbeds, pedalos and canoes are available for hire. There are also a selection of restaurants with lakeside views. Close by is the famous El Chorro gorge.

linen/maid service: Towels and linen are included.The property is fully cleaned on arrival and extra maid services may be arranged if required.
Malaga Airport is 40 minutes. Granada Airport 90 minutes. Car Hire is recommended.
It is 45 km / 45 minutes drive to the nearest beaches. There is a very wide choice of beaches from the popular tourist resorts of Benalmadena and Torremolinos to the up-market Marbella and Puerto Benús. Boat trips, Dolphin trips, water skiing, banana rides etc are available in most of these areas. There are many golf courseson the coasr; and the newly established golf course at Antequera is also less than an hour’s travel time away
