This stylish wooden structure especially imported from America secured its name by being built in the private grounds of the owners land which is surrounded by olive trees.The holiday home due to its natural material blends into the surroundings and has a great feel about it with a striking appearance outside and a somewhat tardis feel inside with a generous layout combining cosiness but also a comfortable holiday environment.The location lends itself to be an ideal base for the independent traveller who wants to explore this stunning part of Andalucia or because of the tranquility of the surroundings and the lovely private swimming pool just soak up the summer sun. The pool which is baked in sun through the summer months is discreetly tucked away to the rear of the owners house but whoever rents the Lodge has full private use of it and will find it hard to keep away.

The main bedroom downstairs is romantic style with the good storage space.In the apex of Olive Grove Lodge is a very flexible sleeping arrangement. There is a double bed one side of the apex and the other side has capacity for 2 single beds as well as plenty of storage space. The double bed area is curtained off and has a mosquito net above the bed. The layout gives you scope to use the area as a double bedroom, twin single bedroom or both. The basic prices have been targeted towards 4 people sharing the lodge but 2 extra guests can be accommodated for a one off fee of only £50 or the equivalent in Euros per week. This lovely downstairs bathroom has been lovingly designed to bring the influences of the Mediterranean into a fully functional bathroom which has a wet room feel about it by way of a generous shower .

The nearest village to Olive Grove Lodge is Riogordo which has numerous bars,restuarants and supermarkets but charming Comares which is a wonderful unspolit 'Blanco' village can be reached within a 20 minute drive, whereupon there is a strong link to Moorish history and several well planned walks.The quaint village has several restaurants serving both Spanish or English fayre all of which are child friendly.There is also a large communal swimming pool open in July and August in Comares. The following can be arranged : Pony trekking or beginners classes, beauty treatment, bird watching or simply star gazing in a wonderfully unpolluted sky.
Within the hour all ticked activities are available and within 2 hours it is feasible to go skiing on the Sierra Nevada.
As you will see the location is perfect for a relaxed week or a packed agenda.

Once you have requested the desire to book Olive Grove Lodge you will be pencilled in and then the booking will be confirmed 100% once the 25% non refundable deposit arrives via cheque or the preferred method of bank transfer. Payment can be made in Euros at the current exchange rate if needed. We will then ask you for the balance 6 weeks prior to arrival.

Peacful, relaxing, scenic and just perfect!

Brian and Claire were the perfect hosts, and they have thought long and hard about whats required of a holiday home as mentioned in other reviews were both helpful and discreet it was nice having them by.

We had a great time! My partner and i were dreaming of an oasis to while away two weeks, dipping in and out of the pool and thats exactly what we got. Only an easy 40mins from Malaga airport and there you are kicking back in the foothills below the perfect little village of Comares (a must visit!). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for a couple as a break away from it all.

My boyfriend and I are constant world travelers. We decided after having toured Europe that we needed to settle for a while to do some work online to help replenish our funds. The many amenities it offered for great value convinced us immediately so we decided to initially stay for a month. We ended up staying for over two and a half months! We loved absolutely everything about the Olive Grove Lodge. Set in one of the most beautiful locations in all of Spain, Andalucía, hidden amongst these famous Spanish hills making this the perfect escape. The Olive Grove is a fully sustained and cosy home with everything you could need during your stay. When we arrived the house was immaculately clean, well kept and felt very inviting. Brian and Claire were perfect hosts, always eager to help whenever it was needed. I really have nothing negative to say about this slice of paradise, we absolutely loved our stay here and that’s why we made it our home for nearly 3 months. This is the perfect holiday rental, it leaves you feeling completely at peace and relieved of any stress. Soak up the sun, the beautiful backyard and enjoy the sound of peace and quiet. If we are ever back in the neighborhood I would without a doubt book the Olive Grove again. Thank you Brian and Claire!
