Vacation Rental Description
The perfect place to escape, relax & unwind without compromising on comfort. Renovated to a very high standard in a relaxing style we have 2 double en-suite guestrooms both with satalite/digital tv, wifi, tea & coffee making facilities, well equipped en-suites with heated towel rail, walk in shower, wc, handpainted basin & modern fixtures, shampoo etc. (one a King size four poster the other a lovely sleigh bed, Queen size)

Our salt water pool makes you feel relaxed & your skin feel soft. With plenty of terraced areas to sit & relax with a book in the sun or shady corner & enjoy the wonderful panoramic views. We now also have a lovely well equipped undercover 'outdoor' kitchen if you wish to choose the self catering option with bbq, gas hob, coffee machine,dishwasher, fridge /freezer etc & use of our washing machine.

Our finca has terraces of fruit trees including apricot, peaches, almond, orange, lemon and fig to name a few also we grow our own herbs, green salads & tomatoes.

We are situated in the mountains above the small village of Estacion de Cortes de la Frontera with a single track railway making an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. With stunning scenery, an abundance of wild flowers & fauna & the Sierra de Grazalema & the beautiful cork forest of the Alcornocales Parque Natural on our door step.

    • We have 2 double en-suite guestrooms both have tea & coffee making facilities, plenty of wardrobe & drawer space. We use cotton sheets for the Summer and individual duvets (continental style)in the Winter. The en-suites have hand painted hand basins, walk in showers, wc's, heated towel rails & modern fixtures also shampoo etc. The bedlinen and towels are changed every third day & rooms are cleaned daily. Towels for the pool are also provided. Enjoy breakfast on the upstairs terrace in the Summer and in our country kitchen in the Winter. We have a lounge with a cosy log fire. You are welcome to use the internet. Sorry but we only except bookings for adults (no children)

    Activities

    The local villages have amenities such as banks,supermarkets,bars and restaurants. We are very fortunate that Cortes is still very much 'real Spain' & is a friendly traditional pueblo.

    Nearby Ronda is situated on cliff tops & an amazing gorge in the centre surrounded by a growing number of vinyards and Gaucin with the views across Gibraltar and to Africa.

    If you enjoy hiking many routes including the GR7 not too far away. An abundance of birds including many birds of prey, eagles are a common sight. Try your hand at painting (tuition can be arranged or simply have a massage or relax by the pool.

    If you would like to go to Granada or Seville by train taking only light luggage, leave the rest with us & we will take you to the station & pick you up on your return.

    We are only an hour from the coast with the beaches and numourous golf courses or a visit to Gibrlatar and a bit further to Estepona, Puerto Banus or Marbella
