Vacation Rental Description

Spanish families from the towns and cities for weekends and holidays. The woodland consists of Eucalyptus and a variety of pine trees. The ground cover consists of many species of wild herbs, flowers, ferns and fungi. The landscape changes colour and texture throughout the year and brings with these changes a range of birds, butterflies, insects and animals. The sky at night is unbelievably clear and many galaxies can be seen and studied from the terraces. Walking on one of the many walkways or tracks particularly during the early fresh morning sunrise is an experience not to be missed. The average number of hours of sunlight per year is 2984 in the Huelva province. Alcoracejo, we are told has Arabic origins and means ‘one side of the hill’. The property is set on a hillside and looks out over rolling countryside facing the horizon to the East, from where the sun appears almost every morning. The property is ideally placed so that the terraces and balconies provide sunshine and shade all day as the sun passes over and sinks gloriously to rest in the west of the property over the swimming pool at night. A visit to a nearby botanical garden, Parque Botanico Jose Celestino Mutis, near to Huelva city at El Rabida, enabled the owners to compare some of the more unusual trees and identify the ones that they have growing in their garden.
The Villa and bungalow is therefore located in this very peaceful setting with its own covered terrace and two open terraces. An arched opening leads from the covered terrace to the swimming pool area. The swimming pool is enclosed and private with lawns all around and views out over the woodland. A gazebo with tables and chairs provides and area for snacking, resting, reading and sunloungers and parasols or sunshades are provided for soaking up the sun. The swimming pool is 10 metres by 5 metres and graduates in depth from the shallow end one and a half metres to two metres at the deep end. There is a shower adjacent to the pool for use before going into the pool.
A log oven is also situated in the pool area so the more ambitious cooks can experiment with this facility to produce some exotic or unusual dishes. The covered terrace has a gas barbeque, a small charcoal barbeque and paella cooking facilities.
The kitchen has cooking facilities, utensils and all necessary items for four people to produce the very best dishes for breakfast dinner and tea and supper. There is a choice of eating areas, in the lounge diner, in the adjacent covered terraces or on the two outside terraces. The bathroom is large and contains bath, shower toilet and bidet and large mirrors for makeovers. The lounge diner has a bed settee for two to sleep comfortably. The bedroom is a good size and includes a double bed and a baby’s cot if this is required. A family with three young children can be accommodated and the English owners a retired teacher and retired electrical engineer could provide childminding for those special occasions when a romantic evening is called for.
All floors are terracotta tiles and the walls white making the accommodation typically Spanish.

There is wheelchair access to the accommodation and to the swimming pool. Water is provided from the underground supply and is usable for washing, cleaning teeth and boiling for making hot drinks. For drinking bottled water is provided. The property is serviced with electricity and gas and the owner’s property has telephone and internet connections which may be used at the discretion of the owners.
There is a full sized tennis court in the lower garden area which can be used and areas for boules, darts and table-tennis, which can be used at the user’s risk. No responsibility can be accepted by the owners for use of any of the facilities on site.

The Villa is fully equipped for self catering and enjoying a home from home holiday. BBQ's, paella and outside baking oven provide opportunities for the ambitious chef's in the family. This for when you do not want to enjoy the gastronomica de la provincia de Huelva! The facilities include full central heating so that all year round you can enjoy this natural Spanish countryside.

The villa is located in a very good central area of south of the Province. An easy drive from the Aracena, the beaches of the Costa del Luz right up to the Portugal border, Sevilla, Donana international natural park. Most activites are from 10 minutes to 45 minutes drive from the Villa.
Walking, biking and hiking can start at the villa and extend into many local beauty spots and places of interest.
Tennis and tabletennis and swimming are features of the villa.
Around the villa are many opportunities to see a wide range of birds, insects and animals.
At night the Sky reveals a clear visa of the stars and planets and it is possible to view these through the telescope although many aspects of the sky at night are clearly visable by the naked eye or with binoculars.

A deposit of 20% is required to confirm booking which is non returnable. The balance to be paid 56 days before the start of the holiday. A £200 damage deposit is payable at the commencement of the holiday. This is returned at the completion of the holiday subject to there being no damages.
