Vacation Rental Description
One of two traditional Andalusian houses at La Solanilla, located near the Sierra Nevada Mountains & Nature Park.It is in the last row of houses in the village and sits on the rim of the Torrente Valley with fantastic views of the mountains, valley and surrounding countryside. Niguelas is a small, quiet village of about 1100 inhabitants, only 20 minutes away from Granada, 25 from the nearest beach, 30 minutes from the Alpujarras and 50 min. from the Sierra Nevada ski resort. Summers are hot and dry but at an altitude of 900 metres, we enjoy refreshing breezes that come up the valley from the coast giving us cool evenings. The southern exposure ensures a protected and sunny spot for those who come in winter. El Peral has its own private garden space and patio with outdoor furnishings and barbecue. It shares the 4x8m swimming pool with the other house on the property. It has been totally refurbished in keeping with the local architecture and offers all modern conveniences. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, one with a double bed and one with two twin beds. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom and a small terrace overlooking the valley. On the ground floor is the kitchen with a four-burner gas cooker, electic oven, microwave, toaster, electric coffee maker, hand-held liquidizer, refrigerator/freezer and automatic washing machine. Also on the ground floor is the living/dining room with windows overlooking the patio area, open fireplace, sofabed that makes into a double bed, colour television, DVD player, radio/cassette/cd player, small library and locally made jams and marmalade for sale; there is also another small bathroom on the ground floor. The house has heating in winter provided by electric storage heaters as well as an auxilliary gas heater. The garden area includes an area of lawn and lush ornamentals and fruit trees for the enjoyment of our guests. Pets are allowed subject to certain conditions.

    We require a 30% deposit on booking and the rest is payable on arrival. We also charge a security deposit of 100 euros on arrival which is refunded at the end of the stay so long as the house, furnishings and garden are left in the same condition they were found. We do not accept credit cards or checks. Cancellations by the customer before 60 days from the booking date will receive a full refund of the deposit. If less than 60 days the deposit will be forfeited. Easter week, Christmas/New Years and long weekends are considered High Season and pay the maximum price. Minimum stay 2 nights Firewood is charged separately at 3.5 euros/25 kg.
