Situated in the oldest part of Montefrio, just below the ruined Moorish fort, a few minutes walk from shops, bars and restaurants. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking, horse trekking, cycling etc. and exploring the history of this fascinating area. 
 
 
Distances 
Montefrio is less than 30 minutes drive to numerous other towns and villages of the Poniente Granadino, where you can explore the last strongholds of the Moors before they were driven from mainland Europe.  
Granada with its famous Alhambra Palace and Moorish history is less then an hour away.  
Cordoba and Seville about 2 hours drive. 
 
Further details 
The owner, who has stayed in the area for 9 years, will provide all the local information you need and be on call for any assistance you may require. In addition, although a hire car is recommended, the owner will provide airport collection and transport to/from Granada etc if preferred.

Hob/Stove, Oven, Iron & Board, Room Fans, Barbecue Outside: Two terraces allow the choice of whether to sit in sun or shade. The main terrace has outdoor furniture, a barbecue and views to the countryside. The smaller terrace has seats and table, and provides great views across the town. Montefrio has an excellent municipal pool with bar/restaurant, open during the summer months. Alternatively, the owner manages a number of properties and may be able to negotiate exclusive use of a pool at a country property.

Coast/Beach: Beaches of the Costa del Sol or Costa Tropical are 1.5 hours drive. 
 
Golf: Nearest golf course (Granada) is 1 hour drive. 
 
Skiing: Skiing in the Sierra Nevada 1.5 hours drive.
