The property was the main olive mill of Montefrio.The Mill is not just a house used as accommodation, but a purposely/architecturally reformed building providing high standard of accommodation & comfort.We offer a large 3 bedroomed house furnished and finished to the hightest standard and other facilities i.e. Games/reading room, cobbles areas /comfortable sitting/relaxing areas. Large swimming pool (for use of guests only) & bar area with honesty bar for your convenience.Ample parking. Located less than 1/3km from town-you don't have to spoil your evening driving back to the accommodation.There are a good number of shops/supermarkets and bars in the town. Our aim is ensure your stay is comfortable, enjoyable & relaxing. Our own high standards are our gauge for the service we provide.Good mobile phone reception if needed. The house can sleep upto 8 people.On the ground floor is a hallway leading to a very large comfortable sitting room, a downstairs cloadkroom (toilet and wash basin).Upstairs there is a large house bathroom, 2 double bedrooms (1 en-suite) a large twin bedroom.There is also a large terrace virtually the length of house off the landing opposite the bedrooms.

Within walking distance of Montefrio.Real countryside with lovely walks.Dramatic mountain views one direction and olive groves the other.The photos are examples of the standard of finish of the apartments. 
Easy driving from Malaga or Granada airports. We supply comprehensive directions by email.The property is of the highest standard and we like to think the highest standard in the area.Supply of water can be a problem in Spain BUT we have 3 supplies (spring, well and mains).We also have spent a great deal (in excess of 10,000€) on a commercial water system.

The Olive Mill is a most beautiful property designed for the holiday maker, we profess not to be just a house owner offering accommodation but have an architecturally designed building with the holiday maker in mind. We are within walking distance of Montefrio so no one in your party has to worry about not relaxing with a drink at night in the town. We have beautiful mountain and olive grove views. The road network is very good with easy access to all surrounding areas and easy journey to the city of Granada and a very straightforward and easy drive to all coastal areas. The town has a good variety of supermarkets, grocers, butchers, pubs and restaurants. Montefrio is a very beautiful town to stroll around and enjoy and the proximity of the Mill is a great advantage. Apart from your own private accommodation we have a swimming pool with relaxing areas around, cobbled courtyard, a bar area and a games and reading room with TV. There is a large sitting area with TV and a large dining area which can be utilised. 
We hope that a stay at the Olive Mill will be a relaxing experience. You can easily explore and experience all the local towns and can drive easily to Granada, and costal areas. There is ample opportunity for walks in olive groves and mountains and there are also historical sites to visit. The town is very friendly and you can experience and have a great time in the local pubs and restaurants. Monterio is built around a mountain with a church on the top which is now a museum and well worth a visit. The town has a beautiful round church which can be appreciated by all and the acoustics needed to be experienced. Fresh bread, meats and cakes are available from small shops in the town and will provide the ingredients for lovely lunches for you. The town also offers a large open air swimming pool surrounded by bars and restaurants which is a great way to spend some social time.

    • The house is very beautiful and is finished to the highest standards to ensure you have a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The accommodation consists of 3 double sized bedrooms 2 having double beds ( 1 being en-suite) and a large twin room. The rooms all have wardrobes / dressing tables. There is also a large house bathroom with Italian tiles. On the opposite side of the landing is a door to a very large sun terrace that overlooks the pool and is excellent for relaxing, lunching or sunbathing. Downstairs is a large sitting room which is well furnished and a cloakroom off this with a toilet and wash basin. There is a very large kitchen with solid oak table and seating fro 6-8 people. To the rear is the swimming pool, bar area, cobbles terraced areas, cobbled courtyard and a games/reading room with TV. The mill building also has a large sitting area with TV.

    Activities

    There is a large communal swimming pool at the top of the town surrounded by bars and restaurants - an ideal place to visit and socialise and enjoy a day with local people and other holiday makers - the facilities are excellent. There are a great variety of shop in the town from jewellers to supermarkets. There are great bakers and cake shops so lunchtime can always be an enjoyable experience with out by the pool, in the apartment or on the terrace.
