We ask an initial payment of at least 40% of the agreed rental in order to confirm the reservation. Any balance remaining can be paid in cash when you arrive. For short lets from three days to three weeks the rent quoted is all-inclusive.
We only ask for a deposit for damages or to set against bills in exceptional circumstances or if the let is for a month or longer (in which case special low rental rates apply).
Tia Maria apartments are available for periods of two nights or more, at rental rates less than those of a room in the city`s most popular three star tourist hotels. Tia Maria is not just a place to stay near Granada, it is also a base from which you can explore the region of Andalucia.

Casa Roma in Tia Maria
We stayed in 2008 and enjoyed the comfortable modern house with a "homely feel" with bits of the owners pictures and painting around. The kitchen was big enough to eat in and we made good use of the washing machine. We bought fresh bread from the bread vans, and other supplies from the nearby villages, so a car is needed.
The peaceful location with easy access to the hills for walking, Granada for culture, and the coast for the sea, made it all a relaxing week, just the job for the "getaway from it all" break we needed.
Returning to the garden and the pool after a day of sightseeing was a treat, as was relaxing on the terrace with our drinks and books.
Wonderful countryside on the doorstep, recommended to friends, and we will go again.

This is a lovely house with an attractive garden and shared swimming pool. The pool is large and it was never crowded.
Casa Roma was perfectly clean and tidy when we arrived, and the owners are friendly and helpful. It is situated in a small village, perfectly situated between Granada and the seaside.
You will need a car to stay here, because there are no facilities or transport in the village. There are shops, restaurants and bars in the surrounding villages.
I recommend the house, without any hesitation.

Granada - more than just the Alhambra
Together with my partner Tim, I moved to Granada`s Lecrin Valley in 1993 and we quickly established our holiday rentals business, starting ith B&B in the picturesque village of Acequias.
Since that time we have developed over 50 properties in the Lecrin valley and other areas of Granada province, and we always keep a few of these for holiday rental, enabling you to stay with us in many parts of Granada - the Costa Tropical, Lecrin Valley, the city of Granada, and the Sierra de Huetor - with the guarantee of quality and management which can only be offered by people who have cleaned the houses and mended the taps themselves!
What are our favourite features of each of these places? Well they are not just the obvious. The Costa Tropical has beaches it is true, but the towns of Almuñecar and Salobreña are notable more for their historic castles surrounded by villages of medieval origin, a haven of delightful shops and bars which line the cobbled streets.
Lecrin Valley is a cluster of a dozen villages gathered around the impressive Beznar Lake, a body of water which changes colour and form from whichever angle you view it. The massive Sierra Nevada, Iberia´s highest mountains, rise up from the Lecrin Valley, which has been since ancient times the primary pass between the city of Granada and the coast; now with modern roads, a holiday home in the Valley can be only 25 minutes drive from either.
The city of Granada is famous for the Alhambra, but for many the experience of viewing the Castle and Palace from the neighbouring Moorish old town, the Albaicin, and then wandering around the narrow streets and viewing the exquisite architecture, is just as much a pleasure. Granada as a city is famous for its bars and tapas - they are free with each drink - and in our apartment there are many suggestions as to how you can enjoy these "a tope´"!
Finally the interior of Granada province contains the surprising city of Guadix, famous for its cave houses which accommodate a quarter of the urban population, many of them gypsies who have turned theri homes into flamenco bars and shrines to the spirit of their way of life. Our houses in nearby Diezma are only ten minutes drive from Guadix, and in the opposite direction nearer to Granada you find the Sierra de Huetor National Park, a vast reserve of unspoilt limestone terrain, criss crossed by deep valleys which score the landscape.
