La Casa del Parque is a Rural House with 2 floors located in Huéscar, Granada, in Andalusia. It is very well situated as it is very close to the town centre and to the town Park: Rodriguez Penalva Park, which is quite big with big trees that provide shadow, benches to rest and paths to walk. The house is well-equipped as well. It has 5 bedrooms with central heating, 2 fireplaces, one in the kitchen and the other one in the sitting room, 3 bathrooms, one of them with a water massage bath, dishwasher, microwave, oven, washing machine, food mixer, TV, video and DVD, logs, courtyard and garden furniture, fridge, iron,towels, sheets and blankets. Our lodging was completely renewed in 2,006.

Our lodging is located in an area known as Altiplano de Granada (High Plateau of Granada) with a lot of interesting places to visit and see. It is an area full of contrasts as the landscape is full of badlands, but at the same time there are plenty of green areas because the area is full of water, rivers, fields and mountains. There are also many important places to visit as La Colegiata de Sta. María, in Huéscar, which is the town church and it is considered one of the 7 wonders of the Province of Granada, and the archaeologic remains in Castellón Alto, in Galera, which is considered to be another of the 7 wonders in our Province. Morover, you will also have the opportunity of tasting the typical "tapas" of Granada, as every time you ask for a drink you will be served a small plate with meal to taste.

    • Near our house children have the opportunity of playing in Rodriguez Penalva Park, you can have a bath in Fuencaliente, which is a natural water source, or in the town swimming pool. The area is excellent to practice sports outside like tennis, football, basketball, horse riding, cycling or walking and hiking.

    In the town will have the possibility of shopping, enjoying meals in a restaurant, going to night clubs, etc.
