Attractive fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment situated in Sacromonte, the picturesque neighbourhood of Granada, Spain. The apartment is suitable for 4 people and has an open plan living room with fully equipped kitchen and luxury bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms one double, one twin, plus a sofa bed in the living room. There is a large terrace above the apartment with spectacular views of the Alhambra and plenty of room for alfresco dining, with sun loungers, hammock and BBQ. A superb hillside location, in the peaceful cave district of Sacromonte. There is no direct car access to the door, but the owners are more than willing to help with your luggage and any other arrangements required during your stay. It is only a 20 minute walk to the centre of the city and local shops are just 5 minutes away. There is a bus service into town and easy connections can be made with Granada’s international airport, with daily flights to Stansted, Gatwick and Liverpool.
The owners are child friendly as they have 2 of their own but the apartment is not suitable for very small children. Due to location and cobbled streets access is difficult for anyone with mobility problems.
50 minutes drive to the Granada´s Costa tropical (Salobrena), long beaches that are not heavily built up and a beautiful old castle town.Skiing only 40 minutes drive from the city centre.
A visit to the Alhambra is a must and a walk around the local quarter to soak up the Moorish atmosphere and the flamenco music.
Granada International airport, 20 minutes drive from the city. Malaga airport 1½ hour away by car, or hourly bus service available. Trains to Cordoba, Madrid and Seville.
One hour drive to the Alpujarra region with its pretty white ashed mountain villages. 30 mins into the Sierra Nevada mountains, they have snow for half of the year.
