Vacation Rental Description
Set at the edge of the picturesque white village of Grazalema, this character property was originally a mill for dyeing wool. It has now been sympathetically restored by its Spanish owners, combining modern comforts with original features. The front door opens into the hallway which features antique agricultural tools and archway to the dining room with an open fireplace. The charming, rustic and well equipped country kitchen, decorated in attractive lavender tones, is on the same floor, as well as two bedrooms and a pretty cream and pink shower room. A majestic staircase leads to the mezzanine living room, two additional bedrooms and the bathroom.
The pool, barely 20m from the house, has open views to the beautifully wild surroundings of woods and hills.
Its geographical location and the beauty of its scenery, makes Grazalema a wonderful place for a holiday at any time of year. There are countless mountain routes to explore if you enjoy walking, and lovers of nature and birdlife will be enthralled by the Sierra de Grazalema's pine forests. There are three lakes within a half hour drive, and historic Ronda is only 30 km away. Grazalema has numerous restaurants and ventas offering delicious regional dishes (golden thistle omelette and sopa de Grazalema being local specialities!)

Activities
A famous writer described the city as a “salty clearness”. Cádiz, which was known as Gades at the Roman period, is the oldest European city. Despite its peninsular character, it is the capital of a frontier land, which from the steep peaks of its mountains falls into the sea. Nature and man, in a perfect symbiosis, making up a diversified landscape full of beauty and charm: Spanish fir groves, cork oaks, pine groves, vineyards, as well as productive farming lands housing white villages of magnificent architecture and a rich varied gastronomy.
The Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean extend throughout a littoral of 260 km of sandy beaches, from the Guadalquivir mouth to the beaches bordering the province of Malaga . To the South, at the end of Tarifa the “ Oceanian Sea ” and the “Mare Nostrum” melt its waters together, fusing gently the shorelines of both continents.
