Accommodation comprises: 
Bedroom: The bedroom has a double bed, built-in wardrobe & chest of drawers and bedside tables with drawers.  
Bathroom: The bathroom has a bath, shower, wc and hand basin.  
Kitchen: The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is very modern, but with a traditional Spanish feel. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, cutlery/crockery/glassware and cooking utensils.  
Living Room: The open-plan lounge/dining area comprises of a pine table and chairs, large sofa, nest of table, colour TV with British Satellite channels, CD player with various CDs, games, books and local information. Fan and electric heater.  
Other: There is ample space in the large enclosed courtyard to enjoy all the sunshine. A table, chairs and parasol have been provided, along with a barbecue for outdoor dining. Although the courtyard is shared, it still retains a private and tranquil feeling.  
Cleaning/towels/ 
linen/maid service: All towels and bedding supplied. Linen changed weekly or on changeover. Washing machine, iron and board. 
 
Arcos de la Frontera is the first Pueblo Blanco on the ‘Route of the White Villages’, in the heart of the Cádiz Sierra. It perches dramatically upon a rocky limestone ridge above the meandering Gaudalete river and rolling valley below. This stunning position offers unrivalled views across the surrounding countryside and lake below. These views can be enjoyed in many ways, such as the ‘mirador’ viewpoint in the Plaza del Cabildo on top of the cliff face, as you take a leisurely stroll through the charming cobbled streets of the old town, or as you wind your way down to ‘Barrio Bajo’. This means lower area of town which is situated at the foot of the cliff face and is where the apartment is situated. 
 
The apartment has been renovated to a high standard, with terracotta flooring and a high rustic beamed ceiling. It also features two charming alcoves set into the cave wall. It is nestled between the iron and stone bridges that straddle the Rio Guadalete, has easy access and there is ample parking outside the courtyard door. 
 
There are shops, bars and supermarkets within easy walking distance. From the property, the XI century Arabic ‘Matrera Gate’ can be reached within a 5 minutes walk and it is the only remaining gateway in the city wall. From here it is an enjoyable walk to the top of the old town, rewarded all the way up with breathtaking views across the surrounding countryside and lake below, especially from the ‘Mirador de Callejas’ to the ‘Mirador de la Peña Vieja‘. 
 
The accommodation provides an ideal base for exploring the area, so whichever way you choose to explore Arcos’ many hidden charms, you can rest assured you will not be disappointed. 
 
The nearest airport is 35 minutes away, just outside Jerez. There are regular flights from Stansted airport with Ryanair. Other nearby airports are Seville which is 75 minutes away and Gibraltar which is 90 minutes away. Malaga airport is around 3 hours.

    • The Costa de la Luz has many fantastic golden sandy beaches, easily reached within 40 minutes by car. These include the beaches at Cádiz, San Fernando, El Puerto de Santa Maria (also has an AquaPark), and Puerto Real.  
    Arcos also has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool for public use during the summer months. 
    For Golf lovers there are several courses within 30 minutes. Arcos Gardens (5 minutes), Montecastillo (20 minutes) and Sherry Golf (30 minutes). 
    Arcos is only a 30 minute drive from the natural park of Grazalema & 40 minutes from Los Alconocales, where you can enjoy many spectacular walks, take in a bit of birdwatching, biking, or simply stop & enjoy the many wild flowers that flourish in the area. 
    Times to other town: Jerez 25 mins. Cádiz 40 mins. Seville 1 hr. Grazalema 30 mins. Rhonda 1 hr. Gibraltar 90 mins. 
    You can also enjoy the Spanish Moto GP at the Circuito de Jerez at the start of May, only 20 mins by car.

Discount for longer lets, please contact for more details. 30% deposit required to secure booking, with the balance payable one month before arrival. 100 euro damage deposit required on arrival (refunded at end of stay, subject to any damages). Detailed directions to property from airport will be provided once deposit received. No specific changeover day. Arrival time is 3pm and departure 11am, but we will try to accommodate any variations as requested.
