Casa Bonita is a charming 2 bed roomed village house in the delightful "pueblo blanco" of Alcala de los Gazules which is in the heart of the Alcornocales National Park.

In common with many Spanish village properties this house is built on different levels and has many interesting little corners. On entering, stairs lead you straight up to the living accommodation although first of all there is a shower room and toilet at the bottom of the stairs.

The comfortable lounge is furnished with two settees and has satellite t.v. plus a DVD player and a video player. The separate dining room opens off from the lounge.

From the living room steps lead down into the kitchen which is modern and well equipped with a ceramic hob and oven, double sink, washing machine, large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and electric kettle plus of course a good selection of pots, pans, crockery and glassware etc.

There is then another short flight of steps which take you up to the bathroom which is surprisingly large and has a full bath with shower over plus a marble topped sink unit, w.c and bidet.

Of the two bedrooms one is a twin room and one a double and they both have ample storage space, the twin room having a very useful walk in wardrobe.

From this landing there is one final flight of steps up to the large roof terrace from where there are superb views over the village and surrounding countryside. Sunbeds, a BBQ and patio set all add to the enjoyment of this delightful space.

Alcala is an attractive hill top village with a truly Spanish flavour. Here you will be able to find, within easy walking distance of Casa Bonita, a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants and there is an internet cafe too. The Parque Natural of Los Alcornocales is a beautiful area of some 170,000 hectares extending from Tarifa in the south to the Sierra de Grazalema National Park in the north of Andalucia. There is much diversity of flora and fauna with many acres of cork oak forest, numerous lakes and reservoirs and plenty of recreation areas and footpaths giving you easy access to this wonderful area.

Other places of interest within easy reach of Alcala include the historic Rock of Gibraltar, the interesting sherry producing town of Jerez or maybe take a ferry to Morocco for the day from the port either in Algeciras or la Linea.

In conclusion then Casa Bonita will make a lovely base from which to explore this beautiful and unspoilt corner of Spain.There is much variety of places to go and things to do in the area from birdwatching and hiking to sampling sherry in the bodegas of Jerez.The Costa del Sol with its clean sandy beaches is also close to hand or in the opposite direction you have the Atlantic coast and the wonderful surfing beaches around Tarifa and all along the Costa de Luz.

The simplest and safest method of payment is either via online transfer from your online account to mine or by an electronic transfer direct from your bank to mine. You can also pay by personal cheque or direct counter payment at any branch of the Abbey Bank, full details sent at the time of booking. You may also pay using paypal but unfortunately as a result of paypal´s charges to the recipient, they make none to the sender, this method incurs a 4% surcharge on all monies sent. However for visitors outside Europe this may still prove the best method.
