Vacation Rental Description

Casa Angela is set in beautiful, typical Spanish countryside, 3km up an easy to drive rambla. Peaceful and tranquil. Spacious, bright and airy accommodation with all amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is an English bar/restaurant only a short drive at the end of the rambla. Albox has all the amenities that you could need, example: 24 hr medical centre, dentist, shops, bars, restaurants, weekly market and much more. Taberno is a sleepy village with bars, shops and restaurants. All beaches, 4 golf courses, Water Park, Go-Karting and much more are within 40 minutes drive. Local bowling alley now open for all the family to enjoy together.

Notes on accommodation:

Please note there are activities for all ages, swimming pool (Children with adult supervision), full size table tennis, table football, boules court and giant garden draughts, free for guests use. There are also a majority of books, games and magazines inside the cottage for your use.

Introduced last season, paint your self a wall plaque souvenir to take home, (for a small cost for materials only), fun for all the family.

Outside:

Large, private patio area with table and chairs, 3 piece cane suite, rocking chair and BBQ over looking the pool area and mountain views. Garden area and ample off road parking area to the front of the property. Swimming pool is suitable for children with adult supervision. To rear of property there are almond, olive, fruit trees and vegetable gardens. Children will love to feed the rabbits, chickens, ducks and doves. Full size table tennis, table football, giant garden draughts and boules court available for guest use.

Distances:

Albox market town is approx 15 mins drive. Village of Taberno is approx 15 mins drive. Major cities, Almeria, Murcia, Lorca, Granada all with large shopping centres all within easy reach by car. Visit Mini Hollywood where the Spagetti Westerns were filmed with zoo and out door pools. Baza Lake with its thermal bath and stunning mountain views and many restaurants. Aqua Park and Go-Karting at Vera. Aqua Park and Zoo at Murcia. Saliente Monastery. Castles at Velez Blanco and Lorca.

Equipment, eg cooker, fridge with small freezer, washing machine, microwave, iron and ironing board, kettle, crockery, cups, glasses etc, table and chairs. Living Rooms: Large, comfortable lounge area with 3 seater and 2 seater sofas. TV, Satelite TV, broadband internet access, DVD player, books & board games. Log burning fire. 2 portable fans for summer. Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: Cottage will be cleaned for your arrival. Fresh linen and towels, including beach towels will be provided. Please note that fresh bed linen and bathroom towels will be changed weekly. * Sorry not suitable for wheelchair users. Maybe suitable for walking disability, please ask for details.

Booking notes:
Deposit £50, required to secure booking, (non returnable if cancellation is within the 8 weeks of holiday commencement), remainder to be paid 8 weeks before commencement of holiday. Payment in full is required if booking is less than 8 weeks before start of holiday. £100 returnable deposit payable on arrival against any damages. This will be refunded after the cottage has been checked on the day of departure. Payment: direct to bank or Paypal, (Paypal charges apply).

Thanks Angie and Phil, we've had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the cottage. The cottage is great, clean, light and spacious.
The kids loved the pool, table tennis, table football and of course the animals - especially Peppar and Kingsley, (I think I saw Kingsley only once in the entire 3 weeks - what a lazy pig)
The location of the cottage is stunning and Chris and I loved walking through the hills, the views are breathtaking and you could never get bored.
It's been a fabulous holiday which I would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from it all. You've been great hosts, Sharon,Chris and family. County Down, Northern Ireland. 23/07/2011.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Your clean, comfortable cottage in tranquil surroundings exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic holiday. Our highlights:
Girls: Peppar, Donald and associates. Pool, table tennis, funfair and hairbraiding at Garrucha and ....SUZIE!
Catherine - the wildlife in the rambla, Eagle, owls, hawks, lizards and on her last day after two weeks searching - a snake and a photo to prove it. ALHAMBRA PALACE - well worth it (an easy 2 1/2 hours with Phil's directions).
Ewa - the surrounding hills - ho, dusty-sunshine on my faceand solitude - just wonderful!

Dear Angie and Phil - Thank you both for an amazing holiday, we've both had a fantastic stay and I'd say I've been the most relaxed I have ever been in my life!! The villa has been fantastic and it's been lovely to meet you two and all the animals, little Suzie, Peppar Pig and the rest of the gang! Phil and I have been together for 34 wonderful years, 18 of these we have been happily married. We have a daughter, she's 28 and a beautiful little Grandughter, 4 years old and we've just heard we're going to have Grandchild no 2.
Phil and I bought this old country property in February 2000, which we have lovingly restored.
We love to help make your stay as comfortable as possible and nothing is too much trouble for us. We love to see people having a good time and enjoying them selves.
