Vacation Rental Description
The property is situated in the center of Facinas village located 12km west of Tarifa surrounded by Alcornocales national parkland.  
 
This is a beautiful traditional style town house that has been completely renovated and fully equipped whilst retaining its traditional charm. 
The main house is on one floor and is open plan, has high beamed ceilings, a large living room with wood burning stove, satellite television and CD player.  
The newly fitted kitchen overlooks the square and includes dishwasher and washing machine.  
There is a sleeping area with a double sofa bed, a separate Shower and toilet.  
Doors open from the living area onto a charming private patio. There is an eating area and barbeque.  
Off the patio is the self contained bedroom annex. It also has high beamed ceilings. It has a double bed and its own shower and toilet. The bedroom window looks out to the patio. 
 
Facinas is surrounded by the Alcornocales nature park and close to the fabulous unspoilt white beaches of Tarifa for you to discover.  
The village itself is quiet and you can enjoy friendly hospitality at the local bars and restaurants.  
There are basic shopping facilities, a bank and a chemist.  
There is also a small market.  
Free broadband internet access is available at the local library and the town hall.  
Use of the village tennis court in summer months. 
 
In the nearby Moorish town of Tarifa you will find more sophisticated shopping and a vibrant night life. 
Although Facinas is only 2km inland and 12km from Tarifa you will find that it is still a very typical Spanish village unspoilt by tourism and does not suffer the seasonal influx of visitors like other towns nearby.  
It is quiet all the year around except during the feria week in august.  
If you have children they can safely play in the square outside the front of the house and will make friends with the local children. There is a playground with swings and slides across the square.  
 
From the patio you will hear the church bell chime the hour and enjoy the processions to celebrate Easter, Communions, etc.  
You will find the people in Facinas very friendly and hospitable. There is a bar Meson Candil in the square where Vicente will introduce you to local dishes including fish and game.  
The shop opposite is convenient for stocking up on provisions.  
The bank is a few doors up and has a cash machine.  
There is a chemist next door and 24 hour medical assistance at the health centre. 
 
Whether you are looking for a fun packed family holiday or a romantic getaway you will not be disappointed.

    • You will find the house exteremely well equipped with more than 100m2 of living space. Linen and towels are provided and changed for stays of more that one week. The sofa bed is comfortable and the house is fully prepared for 4 guests. In the winter there is a wood burning fire in the living room and radiators in the bedrooms. In the summer the nights are pleasantly cool and you will find that air conditioning is not needed.

    • Wind and kite surfing are the predominant sports but also horse riding, walking, dolphin and whale watching excursions by boat, diving and fishing nearby.  
    Easy day trips to Tangier by fast 35min ferries and nearby Jerez, Seville, Cadiz.  
    Discover the hidden away coves at Punta Paloma 7km and fabulous beach at Bolonia is only 8km away.There is a golf course and country club at the Montenmedio Club 30mins from Facinas.
