The apartment is spectacularly located in the exclusive Los Gavilanes complex in Playa Isla Canela an unspoiled region in the south west corner of Spain. It is close to the border of Portugal and the delightful town of Ayamonte. Seville is a 90 minute drive away. The apartment has magnificent views over the river Guadiana and the Atlantic Ocean. There is a shared pool and the beach is a 2 minute walk away. There is a fully equipped kitchen, lounge with dining area, a bathroom and a shower room. There is a dining table on the balcony to easily seat 6. For your comfort there is air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms and lounge area. There are a variety of restaurants and bars which are an easy walk from the apartment. There are also 2 mini markets within walking distance and each sell freshly baked bread. The Isla Canela Golf Course is a 5 minute drive from the apartment and there are plenty of other golf courses all within easy driving distance including those in Portugal.

The exclusive Los Gavilanes complex overlooks the beach and is a 2 minute walk from the apartment. The beach contains beautiful golden sand and when the tide goes out you can see the locals collecting clams and shells. There are loungers and umbrellas available at a very reasonable price. The beach also has 4 restaurants to tantalise your taste buds whilst sun bathing!
Faro airport is a 50 minute drive away and Seville airport is 90 minutes away. Cars can be hired from the airport and we can provide you with details. A taxi can also be arranged and the cost is around 60 euros.
The beautiful town of Ayamonte is a 10 minute drive away. Taxis up to midnight are easily available. There is a local bus service during Summer peak times.
You can access the wonderful town of Villa Real San Antonio in Portugal by catching the car ferry across the River Guadiana from Ayamonte.
Seville is at most a 90 minute drive but you can also go by bus from Ayamonte.
