Vacation Rental Description
The attractive, well appointed Club House provides a welcome retreat with restaurant, bar and large terrace where you can relax and enjoy a post round drink or evening meal. The club has two bowling
greens, its own swimming pool and the Golf Shop, located on-site, provides the normal range of
golfing accessories and is where tee times are reserved. Golf carts and clubs are available for hire,
the facility has a putting green and driving range and lessons are available at competitive rates.
Note: Guests at PRADOGOLF receive substantial discounts on green fees etc.

The Costa de la Luz / Huelva Province region
The Costa de la Luz is known as "The Coast of Light " with beautiful sunsets and miles of uncrowded beaches and nature reserves. The area has long been the destination of the the Spanish with low rise developments and towns retaining their traditional heritage and hospitality.
HUELVA is the next closest city to Ayamonte, there you will find a museum with many remarkable archaeological Roman finds; its other claim to fame is that it was the starting point of Columbus’ famous epic voyage.
The beautiful historic city of SEVILLE is about 75 minutes away, full of ancient cultural heritage that dates back beyond recorded history, on route you will see olive and orange groves, not a high rise building in sight. Once you have had your fill of history why not enjoy the delights of Isla Magica a fun amusement park where you will have your breath taken away with some of the rides see www.islamagica.es for more information.
Today, much of the Rio Guadalquivir (The Great River) riverfront is made up of an
attractive tree-lined promenade. There is so much to see and explore in the way of art and
architecture but its highlights include the spectacular cathedral, Moorish and Renaissance palaces
and fine museums, all within walking distance of each other. You will also find many shops and
markets to visit, or just relax and enjoy the delights of the local wine and cuisine.
CADIZ claims to be Europe’s oldest city with a vast cathedral which is one of the largest in Spain,
there are many Baroque buildings which enhance this beautiful provincial City.
Ayamonte / Isla Canela area
AYAMONTE is a very traditional, picturesque Spanish town situated at the mouth of the Rio Guadiana
where there are many shops, restaurants and squares for you to relax and enjoy. It also has a local
Bull fighting arena where they hold bullfights, which is still very much a part of the Andalucian culture.
In the town there are many shops selling a variety of goods, complementing the modern
supermarkets. If you prefer there is a daily fresh fruit and vegetable market and a weekly market on
Saturday. There is also a 10 minute ferry across to Portugal.
In the evening, enjoy the delights of the local food and wine in the laid back atmosphere of
the bars and restaurants. Alternatively, wander around the shops and marina, where you can also
hire bicycles and boats.
PUNTA Del MORAL is a small fishing village down by the marina at the eastern end of the island.
Here you can enjoy freshly caught fish in numerous restaurants at very affordable prices.
Facilities
Consisting of 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom, 1 twin bedroom, sofa bed in lounge,separate bathroom with shower. Iron and ironing board,hairdryer. NB Guests must provide their own towels for the pool or beach Bed linen can be provided for the sofa bed on request The balcony has a table and 4 chairs , benefiting from the early afternoon sun through to sunset, 2 sun loungers and umbrella. A dedicated underground car parking space is available with remote controlled gate access to the complex. A lift serves the apartment from the car park. Communal gardens surround the property with a large swimming pool and childrens pool overlooking the golf course. The pool is open from mid June to mid September when a lifeguard will be on duty during the pool's opening hours There are 2 tennis courts. Isla Canela is a natural island created by the Guadiana river which forms the border between Spain and Portugal. It has 7 kilometers of beautiful golden sandy beaches with protected areas of sand dunes behind, and a promenade which runs along the length of the beach.Within easy reach there is a Modern Marina with many different bars restaurants and shops. Close by there is a traditional fishing village with restaurants providing wonderful fresh fish and traditional Spanish dishes.
From the local town Ayamonte you can take the foot ferry across the river to Portugal or spend your time drinking wine or coffee in the squares surrounded by orange trees. There are plenty of shops to keep even the most avid shopper happy.
You are only one hour away from the historic city of Seville and it's airport, and 45 minutes from Faro in Portugal with it's airport.

Many thanks for renting out your apartment to us. After our telephone call, David was waiting to meet us at the main entrance. Dianne, Paul & Myself had an excellent time, and the weather changed on our arrival to clear blue sky’s and in the late 20’s for the duration of our holiday.
Well we're back can't believe where the time went we all had a lovely time, nice complex Jane and Phil Hopper
Just to let you know - the weather here is fantastic- as is the apartment. We met David as planned and are looking forward to exploring the region - if we can get off the sunbed! Cheers Mark + Elaine Rowlands

Beautiful Isla Canela is where you want to be
Peter and I went on vacation to Ayamonte and fell in love with the area and friendly Spanish people. We decided to buy a property there so we could enjoy the peace away from the hussel and bussel of everyday life. We decided that it would be good if other people could share what we had experienced, so we decide to rent out our apartment. There are no high rise buildings in this area, in fact there is a law against them which is great as you are able to appreciate the beautiful surroundings of olive and orange groves along the roadside on your way to the historic city of Seville. There is of course the 7 kilometer beach which never gets really crowded or the fishing village which produces the most amazing meals with the fresh fish caught that morning!! or the restaurants at the marina or in Ayamonte which serve a variety of food to please everyone. You are located in a Golf community, so if you play golf you are just minutes away with preferential rates, or you can swim in the pool and what better way to end the day than by sitting on the balcony watching the sunset with a glass of cold beer or wine and some delicacies from the local supermarket, it's just great.
