Vacation Rental Description
La Palmera is a one storey detached villa set in a large and very private 1000 sqm plot laid out to grass, pebbles, patio and mature plants and palms. It has a good sized, secluded private pool, sun loungers for lazing around, a large garden, as well as a patio with barbecue for dining al fresco. With three double bedrooms, it is ideal for a relaxing holiday with family or friends. There is air-conditioning in the lounge, dining area and the main bedroom. 
All bedrooms look out over the pool or garden. 
 
It is located along a quiet residential road just over a mile from La Barossa beach and a quarter mile from a parade of shops and tapas bars. The local Spanish venta ( bar) is within walking distance. 
Our English representative lives nearby will meet you on arrival and tell you all about the best local beaches and restaurants that make this part of the Costa de la Luz so special and why we love it so. The famous Blue Flag beach of La Barrossa with its 8 miles of sand is a mile away. 
 
Overlooking the front garden is a covered porch with table and chairs for outside entertaining. At the back is a patio for barbecuing (both gas and charcoal), lit up at night, with a traditional tiled table and benches, sun loungers and sun umbrella. The patio is directly accessed from the kitchen and overlooks the private 8x5m pool. 
 
Bedroom 1 with double bed, en-suite, air-con unit, fitted wardrobes and hairdryer. Full air cond. 
Bedroom 2 twin beds with ceiling fan and fitted wardrobes.  
Bedroom 3 twin beds with fan and fitted wardrobes. 
All bedrooms with garden and/or pool views. 
 
En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath, shower, WC and bidet. 
Main bathroom with shower, bath, bidet and WC. 
 
Large fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces. Dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer, washer/drier, toaster, kettle, gas hob and electric oven. Door leading to patio and outside eating area. 
 
Lounge/dining room. TV which receives English channels, DVD player and a selection of DVDs, full air conditioning providing hot/cold air depending on season. Dining table and chairs for 6, sofa set. 
 
Main living room has air conditioning, as does bedroom 1, second bedroom has a ceiling fan and third bedroom has a standing fan. The villa is suitable for children as it has a large garden with grass for playing. The lounge has an open fire for winter evenings.

    • Our English representative will meet you to take you to our villa and show you around. She is available throughout your holiday to answer any questions about the area, having lived here for 5 years. We have British TV with BBC and ITV channels and lots of DVDs to watch. It is a villa that we bought to live in ourselves so equipped as any home would be to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The villa will be thoroughly cleaned for your arrival and all linen and towels supplied. A welcome pack will be given which you´ll find useful after a long flight. Please don´t hesitate to ask any questions about possible airports etc.as there are many possibilities. Chaneocver day is flexible and subject to availability.

    • Our villa is ideally situated as a base to explore the area. We are close enough to the beach, a mile, for easy access but far enough away to be in a quiet location at night. 
    We recommend hiring a car to explore the area though shops, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Towns such as jerez, Vejer, Sevilla, Gibraltar and Cádiz are all within an hour and a half´s drive to explore. A drive up into the mountains to vist the pueblos blancos (White Towns) of Ronda, Grazalema etc.is recommended. 
    There are several golf courses within a quarter of an hour´s drive. A very short drive away is Sancti Petri marina and the old fishing village where water sports activities are available. 
    Visit the bodegas in Jerez and El Puerto de Santa María, take the train to Seville for the day, take the catamaran across the bay to Cádiz, vist the Water Park at El Puerto de la Santa María or watch the show put on by the white horses in jerez.

    A deposit of 30% is required immediately on return of the booking form to confirm your reservation. The balance is payable 8 weeks before your arrival date. Payment can be made into my English bank in pounds, my Spanish bank in euros or by paypal (the charges for paypal are 4% which will be added on).
