Wonderful villa with private pool in one of the very best locations in Costa Tropical, directly overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.Casa Lobo is a luxury villa in Salobrena, build in traditional Andalucian style and situated in the quiet and very private Urbanisation Costa Aguilera Mar. The views from all principal rooms are simply stunning!
The villa has its own private pool surrounded by terraces and a mature garden with excellent sea view. The pool is heated with a solar panel heating system and can be used all year round.
Located on a plot with no major roads between this property and sea this villa is close enough to the sea to see the dolphins playing below.
The approach from the entrance gate at road level to the front door is via a pretty entrance patio just a few steps down from the road and garage level.
This walled courtyard area with the Spanish fountain sets the property away from the street and provides privacy. From this area you can go around the property to the pool area and surrounding gardens or to the upper garden area with its barbeque area and the build in Argentinean Barbeque surrounded by fruit trees.
The villa has an open plan dining and living area which are on two levels with a separate kitchen adjacent to the dining area on the upper level. The dining area overlooks the living area and on descending a small number of steps you enter the open living area with high ceilings and large windows which means the area remains bright and open with views south, along the Costa Tropical, Salobrena beach and to the rock on which the castle in Salobrena sits which is often illuminated at night. In the corner of the room there is a traditional style fire place.
There is easy access on this level to a very private terrace with its own external fireplace allowing the residents to spend more time outside in the evenings. Part of the terrace is covered which avoids too much light entering the living area directly, keeping it cooler as well as providing useful shelter from the sun. From this terrace some of the best views can be enjoyed while you enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner overlooking the ever changing sea.
Below this level there are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is located furthest from the pool. All bedrooms have secure double doors which open onto the lower terraces which have many mature hibiscus plants. At this level there is a private swimming pool which has its own surrounding terrace ideal for lying in the sun.
There are further gardens below this level with many mature trees, some of which are fruit trees and also an established grape vine.
Around the villa there are various storage areas including a utility area with a washing machine and a small discrete terrace to dry the washing naturally with the sea breeze and Mediterranean sunshine.
At street level there is a garage and off-road parking for a second car.
The villa is very close to the village of Salobrena, one of the prettiest towns on the entire coastline of Costa Tropical.
Salobrena is situated on the hillside, and from Casa Lobo you have a perfect view to the village with the 10th century Moorish Castle, which is illuminated at night.
Salobrena has very pretty beaches and you can enjoy all sorts of water sports, including scuba diving in summer.
Less than an hours drive from Casa Lobo you find the Alhambra of Granada - the most famous tourist attraction in Spain.
In the Sierra Nevada, which is also just 1 hour by car from Casa Lobo, you find a famous winter resort for skiing and other winter sports, and in The Alpujarras you can enjoy the beautiful nature in the valleys below the Sierra Nevada by walking or riding.
The golf course Campo de los Moriscos, is only a 10 minutes drive from Casa Lobo.

On receiving a reservation, a deposit of 25% percent is paid via a bank transfer. The balance is paid 8 weeks before arrival. 2000 DKK (280 Euro) returnable security deposit. Cleaning of the house and linen for use in the house is included in all prices. Electricity, gas and wood for the fireplace is included as well. Heating of the pool will be of no extra cost for you! In the house there is wire-less internet, and if you want to use the internet - which is for free - you should bring your own laptop. (The computer in the house is not connected to the internet.)

We are a danish couple and we are the proud owners of Casa Lobo.
We spend 4-5 weeks in Spain every year, and the rest of the year we have tenants in Casa Lobo.
We are living in Denmark but we do hope to spend the whole winter in Andalucia when we retire from our jobs. Andalucia and Salobreña is a wonderfull place!
