Vacation Rental Description
This townhouse is situated in a cul-de-sac in the old town of Salobreña. It combines the ambience of living in a village with the convenience of being close to all town facilities, including supermarkets, shops, local market, bars and restaurants. It is within walking distance of the beach (about 15 minutes) where there are more bars and restaurants. The historical old town area of Salobreña has whitewashed houses and narrow winding streets leading to the Moorish castle at the top.
The front door leads into to the open plan hall/lounge area. The lounge contains a double bed/settee and TV with DVD (Sky freeview satelite television (bring your own Sky card for additional stations)). There is a fully fitted bathroom/shower on this level.
From the hall area, stairs lead up to the first floor where there is a double bedroom with en-suite shower/wc and a twin bedroom both with plenty of wardrobe space. There is a large landing with folding bed.
From the landing, stairs lead to the dining room which is equipped with table, seating and CD player. There is a door to the rear street level. The kitchen is fully fitted with 4 ring gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave and toaster. There is also a small utility room with toilet, shower, wash basin and washing machine. Portable fans and heaters are available.
The terrace is off the Kitchen with views over the town towards the coast. There is a table and seating on the terrace. Circular staircase to 36sq.m roof terrace with sun beds, shaded area and lighting for the evenings.

Bedding and towels are provided. For lets of more than one week a change of bed linen will be left out for self changing.

Activities
Salobreña is a convenient location from which to visit the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada (45 minutes away), the Sierra Nevada ski area (1 hour 10 minutes away) and the picturesque walking areas in the Alpujarras (Orgiva is 45 minutes away). There is also diving available nearby in Marina del Este and La Herradura (both 20 minutes away). The bustling town of Almuñecar is 15 minutes away – famous for its Waterpark in the summer months and its Friday market throughout the year.
Buses go from Salobreña to all nearby towns as well as to Granada, Malaga, Seville and Cordoba. Current timetables and prices are available at the kiosk at the main bus stop in Salobreña. There is also a local ‘urbana’ bus service which travels between the town, the old town, the beach and the nearby fishing village of La Caleta.
