This modern apartment has a front terrace facing the communal pool with open views over the old white town of La Herradura. The apartment is well equipped with all modern conveniences to comfortably suit four. As well as the front balcony there is a shady plant filled rear courtyard off the kitchen that also is another outside dining area. The apartment block has parking outside and lifts and is within very easy walking distance of a good range of shops, local fresh produce market, bars and restaurants, banks, chemist etc., and is just a short walk from the beach. The apartment has a large double bedroom with fitted wardrobe and patio doors leading onto the front terrace overlooking the pool. Bedroom two has twin beds and a fitted wardrobe and views to the courtyard. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, washer/drier, microwave, toaster, kettle and a good range of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans etc. The family bathroom has bath with shower, basin, toilet and bidet and there is also a separate WC and washbasin. The living room/diner is fitted with corner sofa unit, coffee tables, two dressers, dining table and chairs, TV with video and DVD, Sky, stereo unit and oil filled electric heater if required. Patio doors lead to the front terrace overlooking the communal swimming pool, and is equipped with patio table and chairs and enjoys good views of the old town. Off the kitchen is a shady internal plant filled courtyard with patio table and chairs making a very good outdoor dining room.

The activities available include water sports, riding and walking in the beautiful natural parks, the Alpujarras and the Sierra Nevada and two golf courses both less than half an hours drive away. La Herradura is a very popular diving area providing some of the best diving on the south coast of Spain with facilities for all levels of ability. There are dinghies, windsurfers, canoes and pedalos for hire on the beach and from nearby Almuñecar (just 5 kilometers) sail and motor boats can also be hired. There are two water parks in Alumñecar together with a further range of beaches. Beaches in the area include a couple of secluded naturist ones. The cultural centre in La Herradura puts on various events in the summer, including music and theatre.

A large apartment, furnished to a high standard and though it does not have air conditioning there are electric fans supplied and due to the layout a cooling through draught from the rear courtyard to the front terrace keeps it comfortable even in the hottest months. We do leave a selection of videos and cassettes to suit all ages and also there is a good selection of books, however, we do ask that books are returned to the shelves before leaving the apartment as we often re-read them. There is a large sunbathing area around the pool and a number of sunloungers are supplied (there are also two available in the apartment). Linen and towels are supplied but please bring you own beach towels.

25% of the rental is payable on booking and the balance one month before arrival. A refundable security deposit of £50 or 10% of the rental, whichever is the greater, is also payable with the rental balance. Both payments to be made by bank transfer.
