Vacation Rental Description
To reach the villa you head inland, away from the coast and go through a wooded area, which although tropical in origin (they're avocado trees), they have become an important part of the local economy. The house delights with its magnificent views from its terraces over the sierra mountains and the sea; the swimming pool and barbecue make outdoor living highly enjoyable and relaxing. Inside the villa the lounge is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and has a rustic archway. The bedrooms are light and well furnsihed.
Position: Located some 4km from Torrox, the local town offering all services, restaurants, tapas bars, etc. It's ideally placed for easy access to the beach (7-8km), to go shopping in Nerja or to visit its caves discovered in 1959 and that contain important early cave paintings. There are golf courses 15-18km away. The airport is about 45 mins. For nature lovers there are interesting walks and routes in the Parque Natural de la Sierra Tejeda y Almijara. The Ruta Mudéjar offers an interesting cultural experience and a chance to see some historic buildings from the time of our Andaluz ancestors (Torrox, Sayalonga, Corumbela, Árchez, Salares, Canillas de Albaida, Frigiliana) - all of these villages have fascinating histories, beautiful architecture, spectacular scenery and warm, welcoming inhabitants.

Torrox has the enchantment and the magic of the white villages of the Axarquia, the Andalusian region, and it offers the ideal conditions to enjoy the sun and the sea on its nine kilometres of Mediterranean coast. A typical and bright village, clear water beaches that have received the Blue Flag from the European Union, and surroundings that remain untouched in most areas.
The mountains of Sierra Tejeda protect it and its climate is proudly proclaimed “the best climate of Europe”: mild summers and winters with a shining sun allow us to enjoy its enchantments and the fantastic options of the rural tourism.
Torrox is situated on the south of Spain, on the eastern Costa del Sol. It is 44 kilometres from the airport of Malaga and less than 10 kilometres from the Nerja village and from its famous caves. It has an easy and fast access through the Mediterranean motorway.
