Vacation Rental Description
Balcon Heights is located just six minutes' walk from the popular Penoncillo beach, between Nerja and Torrox Costa which boasts the Best climate in Europe. Quiet and peaceful, yet only 5 minutes by car from Torrox to the west and 10 minutes from Nerja to the east. There are several beach bars and local shops and a supermarket within walking distance. The paseo maritimo (promenade) at Torrox has many excellent restaurants for eating out.  
 
The complex includes two communal pools, one main pool for families and an adults only pool. Leading from the living room is a spacious terrace with stunning sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco.  
 
There is a spacious kingsize bedroom, with ensuite, two fully fitted wardrobes, electronic storage safe, and private terrace. Whilst the twin bedroom also has fully fitted wardrobes and its own private terrace. This apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. Additionally a large roof terrace with sun beds for private sunbathing, allows you to enjoy extensive views and all day sun. 
 
Torrox Costa is a popular coastal strip, particularly with holidaymakers who flock here during the summer, with a wide range of restaurants, shops, bars, supermarkets and banks available. It is also the site of the remains of a Roman necropolis and villa located immediately west of the lighthouse. 
 
Torrox Pueblo, only 4 kilometres inland from Torrox Costa, is a lovely white town still untouched by tourist development so you can truly appreciate the Spanish way of life and enjoy unmatched mountain and sea views

Very beautiful and clean apartment with beautiful ocean view in a quiet area. Really nice tenants who answered quickly when calling or writing mails to them. One should have a car available when staying there. (Stayed June 2011)

"Everything we needed"

Superb apartment, spacious, clean with everything we needed and lovely views. Found most areas even Nerja very busy, lots of traffic so apartment was in an ideal position away from it all. We did go in August. Bars/restaurants on beach were excellent so we used them day and night, full of real Spanish experiences. Would definately recommend apartment to family/friends but they would need a car and be reasonably fit for the hill back up and the stairs (only if lift wasnt working) especially in the heat of the day or after large beers and lots of fresh fish in the night!

"Superb"
We stayed in July 2010 in the apartment. It was superb, beautifully decorated and very clean. The description given in the advertisement complies with the apartment. The owners are very friendly (if you do not speak English, you can use a translator on the internet). The apartment is well situated for visiting any part of Andalusia. For the rest, the two pools are very nice and the sea is not far.
We had a great time.

The "white washed" village of Frigiliana Hello and Welcome

We first fell in love with this area of Spain in 2000 and never get tired of going back to it. The weather is of course wonderful but we also love the way it is also a typical traditional spanish village and town. Festivals are very much a part of the way of life here as is the importance of family. If you get a chance to have your holiday during any "feria" it is always a great experience.

There are so many restaurants that we enjoy that it would be hard to list them all - so we leave menus or business cards from everywhere we go so you can choose yourself!
