Casa Clara is a two bedroom country house, sleeps 4/5. Private pool, private and secluded garden with large sun terraces, shaded outdoor dining area, tropical fruit garden and BBQ. Positioned on a hillside location. Parking. Sun terrace with mountain views. Short walk to lively white village, Torrox pueblo, 10 minutes drive to nearest beach. 12 minutes to Nerja.
Accommodation
Bedrooms: 1 bedroom with double bed.

Day bed in living room (sleeps 1).
Bathrooms: Large bathroom with full size bath and shower.
Outdoor pool shower.
Kitchen: Open plan kitchen overlooking pool with cooker, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, etc.
Utility Room: Washing machine, drying rack and line.
Living Rooms: Open plan spacious living room with Moroccan style day bed sofa (sleeps 1), chaise longue, arm chairs. Satellite TV, video (video and DVD library), DVD and CD/radio, library,Playstation1, board games, etc
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: The house is cleaned prior to your arrival and towels(exc. beach towels) and bed linen are provided-cleaning during your stay can be arranged at extra cost.
Notes on accommodation
Pool, terrace area and garden suitable for children with supervision, and for the use of paying guests only.Air-con unit can be hired locally for appx. 70 euros per week. there is a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. BBQ available but not recommended in summer months due to fire hazard.

A few stairs to front door. Single floor within house, no stairs.
Outside
Tropical fruit garden, private pool 5x7m, outside pool shower, table and chairs for alfresco dining, swing chair, sun beds, parasols, BBQ on large terraces overlooking mountains. Lots of tropical plants on terrace which love being watered in summer.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beach (10 mins drive) is Torrox Costa with its long sandy beach and watersports. About 15 mins drive from the bustling seaside resort of Nerja and its famous Burriana Beach (Paella!) Aquavelez Water Park is a 20 min drive at Torre del Mar. Maro quiet bay / Catarrijan naturist beaches 20 mins.
Golf
There are several golf courses within vicinity. The nearest 18 hole golf course is a 15 min car journey away.
Skiing
The ski resort of Sierra Nevada is approx 1 hour and 40 mins drive.
Travel
The nearest airport is Malaga, about 45km/45 mins from Torrox with good connections to the rest of Europe. It is also possible to fly into Granada about 90 mins drive. We can arrange airport transfers if required. Car hire is recommended.
Alpujarra Mountains approx 1 hour.
Distances
The pretty and historic Andalucian white village of Torrox Pueblo is 5 mins walk. The village has a daily covered market, outdoor Monday market, many restaurants and bars, shops and banks. 10 mins drive from the costal resort of Torrox Costa with a scenic promenade and many restaurants and bars. 12 mins drive from the bustling seaside resort of Nerja.

Torrox provides the perfect base to explore Andalucia. You can explore the historic towns and white villages of Competa and Frigiliana.
The beautiful city of Granada with the magnificent Alhambra is only 1.5 hours drive, and also Seville is quite accessible. There are many leisure activities such as golf, horseriding, walking, snorkeling and scuba diving. During the year there are lots of feria (festivals) in different nearby towns and villages.Overlooking the Mediterranean, the 11th century village of Torrox is a typical white-washed village with many steep streets and pretty squares. Protected from the north winds by the Tejeda and Almijara mountains the average temperature sees little difference between winter and summer. It is for this that Torrox boasts having 'the best climate in Europe'.
