Situated in a quiet residential area, Villa Sofia has lovely open views across the valley. It has 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) and a futon in the seperate dining room which can be used for a 5th guest. There is a fully tiled family shower room and the main bedroom has a WC & washbasin ensuite. Fully equipped kitchen with full sized gas cooker & a comfortable lounge area with TV (some satellite channels), DVD player & CD player. Air conditioning.
The main attraction is the beautiful private swimming pool with surrounding terrace and garden area. Sunloungers, outdoor table & chairs and parasols are provided, along with a gas barbecue.
Located in Alhaurin de la Torre, just 15 minutes drive from Malaga airport and the same distance from the beaches & nightlife of Torremolinos. A little drive further along the coast brings you to Benalmadena with it's beautiful marina and beaches, and further on to the famous Marbella/ Puerto Banus area. There are many top golf courses nearby. The nearest is Lauro Golf at Alhaurin el Grande, 10 minutes drive away. Please enquire for further information.
Alhaurin de la Torre itself is a small Spanish town, not touristy but with all the facilities you may require - banks, supermarkets, shops, bars & restaurants.
All in all, Villa Sofia offers very comfortable, affordable holiday accommodation for the holidaymaker who prefers to be located in a quieter area away from the masses and yet within easy reach of all amenities and who enjoys having their own beatifully maintained private pool.
For winter breaks, the Sierra Nevada mountains with their fabulous skiing are about an hour and a half's drive away.The property is heated.
All linen and towels are provided - please bring your own beach towels.
Car hire recommended.
Due to the number of steps down to the property, it is unfortunately not suitable for disabled access or the infirm.
