Vacation Rental Description

La Luna is truly a wonderful and restful villa, ideal for a holiday in the Spanish sun. It is situated in the hills above the Mediterrean with great views down to the sea and of the surrounding mountains and white villages. The villa was carefully restored from an old farmhouse and has large rooms, comfortable furniture and is very much a family home. It is set in it's own gardens and terraces - with parking, covered terraces and lots of shade - and the good sized pool is surrounded by tiled terraces with ample space for lounging in the sun. All is on one level and with a wheel chair accessible shower, it is so easy for people with disabilities. With no overlooking neighbours and accessed by a hardly used country track which dead-ends a couple of hundred yards further on, you can be assured of privacy and quiet.
The villa is some 20 minutes from the sea, 50 minutes from Malaga airport, 90 minutes from Grenada airport and all the wonderful sites of Andalucia - Cordoba, Sevilla, Grenada, Costa del golf - even Gibralter are doable on a day visit.

Great area for birdwatching and horse-trekking available on Andalusian horses from our neighbours and we are only 2 miles from Lake Vinuela - a fresh water reservoir for swimming, sailing, canoeing etc. - and with some bars and restaurants in the immediate area. The nearby beach resorts - Torre del Mar, Nerja have a mass of families activities, miles of beaches - and lots of bars, restaurants etc. Velez Malaga - the nearest town is typically Spanish with a covered market, churches and a Moorish castle and on the outskirts ia a huge regional shopping center.

The beds are large (NA king size in the master bedroom) and all is designed for comfort and relaxation. We have hundreds of books, video tapes, DVD's and the Satellite service is UK based free-to-air. The bathroom has an extra large shower enclosure (wheelchair accessible).

High Season Price : €760 per Week
Prices quoted are in Euros and we ask for a 25% deposit at time of booking - by electronic transfer - and balance sent 6 weeks prior to arrival. We can offer special rates for Christmas and Easter and for long term rentals at La Luna or other villas we look after in the area.
