Villacana has been called one of the finest complexes on this coast line in terms of having a most pleasing atmosphere. Maybe this is because the immaculately-maintained, 2-storey houses were built over 20 years ago in the attractive, traditional Andalusian-style of white with archways and beautiful flowers and plants that have had time to mature.
Villacana is an award winning beach front resort with a large sun bathing area leading directly to the beach, a large swimming pool with childrens pool adjacent and a further three pools strategically placed throughout the resort.
There are three on site restaurants and numerous others close by in the delightful village of Cancelada providing a wide choice of high quality menus.
There is a small supermarket on site and tennis and gym facilities as well as a childrens play area. There are numerous golf courses nearby suitable for all standards including Valderrama and Sotogrande.

This part of the coast is famous for its restaurants, and offers everything from upmarket Robbie’s in Estepona for that special occasion, through a large variety of international restaurants at a range of price levels, through to a posh Fish and Chip shop a short car ride away. Whilst many restaurants are a car/taxi ride away, there are also plenty in walking distance. We love to walk over the footbridge to Cancelada and eat in one of the restaurants there (take the toddler in the buggy!), and of course there are the great restaurants on site.
The wonderful shops of Puerto Banus, try either the boutiques on the Harbour front, or in the wonderful stores behind the café area. Alternatively look around the more Spanish style shops in Estepona and San Pedro and pick up the local atmosphere.
There are colourful street markets where bargains can be found most days of the week in various nearby towns, just a short trip away.
