Welcome to Villa Alqueria, an incredibly spacious Spanish style villa for your holiday accommodation in Nerja, nestling in the midst of a lovely Andalucian white urbanization in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara, where the mountains meet the blue Mediterranean Sea, in beautiful Nerja, Costa Del Sol, Mainland Spain. 
 
Villa Alqueria is ideal for your Self Catering Vacation holiday in Nerja. Situated in a very private, peaceful spot, yet convenient for the beach (5 minutes walk) and a 25 minute walk takes you directly into the town, which has lost none of it’s Spanish charm, and is full of interest, with wonderful views to see, and gorgeous places to sit and bathe in the warm sunshine.  
 
The villa itself is amazingly spacious, and easily sleeps 10. It is quite easy to get lost whilst exploring the villa and gardens. It is necessary to wander around, and get a feel for this beautiful property. On three levels, this villa affords accommodation, which is not only lovely, but gives privacy and space to those who like to take time out occasionally, maybe just to take in the fantastic views of the mountains and sea, or to catch up on a little reading, or just simply have a nap in the sunshine. Villa Alqueria is furnished to a high standard in every room, and the kitchen is huge, giving more than enough space to cook in for a change, or if you prefer, every night…..There is also no shortage of dining space, either in the very large kitchen or in the dining room…not to mention lots of space outside for Al Fresco dining in the warm summer evenings, as well as a wonderful pool, which also has fabulous views all around. For your comfort in the winter, there is also a working fireplace, for a wonderful log fire when the temperature drops a little in the evenings… 
 
There is room for at least three cars to park inside the large private gates - including a double garage, and large driveway… 
 
All in all, it is very difficult to describe every single thing about this villa, as it has so many wonderful aspects to it! Lots of oooh’s and ahhh’s are guaranteed on first sight….

The self contained apartment on the ground floor can sleep up to four extra persons and the property can therefore sleep up to 10 persons comfortably but there is a 50 Euros supplement for extra persons with a maximum of 12. Plenty of watersports and other activity sports available. Nerja has a running track and sports centre visitors can use. The Water park opens from Easter to October and the golf course are both in Vélez-Málaga, 15 minutes drive from Nerja where there is also a top standard golf course. Nerja is by far the nicest town on the eastern Cost del Sol. Nerja has grown rapidly, yet has escaped the excesses of ugly high rise buildings that disfigfure much of the Costa. The weather is very sunny and temperate as Nerja lies on a plain almost surrounded by the Almijara and Alpujarra Sierras. It is perfectly possible to ski on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada in the morning, and sunbathe on the Nerja beaches in the afternoon. In old Nerja,narrow streets lie between white walled houses, their balconies full of Geraniums.. Restaurants and tapas bars are everywhere, and all tastes are catered for, from Andalucian to Indian, Mexican and even Greek.

The white villages of Frigiliana, Torrox Pueblo, Canillas de Albaida and Competa are all nearby and all worth a visit. All have their fiestas and Saints' days when colourful flamenco dresses are worn. Semana Santa (Easter) is celebrated in all the towns and villages with solemn Processions.Malaga's Semana Santa celebrations are world famous.
