    • One of Nerja's many attractions is the Balcon de Europa, with it’s beatiful promenade built on a small peninsula jutting into the Mediterranean, and offering spectacular views along the rugged coastline. Another world famous attraction is the awesome "Cuevas " at Maro, a village east of Nerja. A theatre has been created within the caverns and famous performers appear at the festival held there every July. The walk to beautiful village of Maro is very popular with visitors to Nerja and is well worth the visit. From the apartment the walk will take you apprx., 30 - 45 minutes, early morning or late afternoon is recommended.
