Stunning frontline air conditioned apartment set in beautiful gardens with communal pool and stunning views over sea and mountains. Nicely furnished in the Acapulco Playa complex in a quiet area of Nerja, yet only 2 minutes walk from the famous Balcon De Europa and the many quaint bars and restaurants of the old town. Comprising two double bedrooms (one with double bed, one with twin beds) with fitted wardrobes, fully tiled bathroom with bath and shower, spacious lounge with sat tv, dvd and stereo system and fully fitted kitchen with cooker, hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Large patio doors from the lounge lead onto the balcony which has stunning views of the large communal pool, gardens, mountains, beautiful Playa del Salon beach and sea. Ideal for both families and couples. Added benefit of air-conditioning and Internet access. 
There is a private car park for the Acapulco visitors.

  • Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. The heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe", a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes here to choose from, and the visitor can hire a horse-drawn carriage to explore the most romantic corner of the town.

  • The Costa del Sol is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, it's miles of beautiful sandy beaches and fantastic weather which have kept tourists flocking back year after year to resorts like Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Marbella. The Costa del Sol caters for young and old alike, offering a host of entertainment choices for the native and visitor alike.  
    The coast boasts one of the highest concentrations of world class golf courses, to the extent that it is often dubbed "The Costa del Golf". For families there are theme parks, including water parks, go-karting, safari parks and many beautiful public gardens. For younger visitors the main areas of attraction are Benalmadena's Puerto Marina & '24 hour square' and Marbella's Puerto Banus. Both are very trendy and chic, but be warned the bars and clubs don't get busy until near midnight and stay open till dawn.

    20% deposit for each property is payable when booking. This is non-returnable in the event of any cancellation, notification of which is required in writing, and signed by the person who signed the booking form. For those clients who book within eight weeks of their departure date, full payment is required at the booking stage. £100.00 security deposit is required at balance stage, refundable within 2 weeks of your return Balance is due eight weeks before departure and we reserve the right to re-let the accommodation if this condition is not met. For cancellation within eight weeks of departure, the client remains liable for the following charges (but this may be negotiable depending on circumstances): 42-55 days: 60% 29-41 days: 70% 22-28 days: 90% 0-21 days: 100% Payment Cheque- Credit card- (There is a charge of 3.5% for this service. Bank transfer £50.00 extra for aircon per week

    COMMENTS : This was our second stay at 27 Acapulco appts and was once again most enjoyable. Pauline was very helpful after the initial hiccup with the Taxi not arriving, this was quickly resolved.
    The apartment and furnishings lived up to previous standards and was very clean and tidy as was the whole complex.
    Thank you for your excellent communications, we would be happy to recommend you to our family and friends. We may be back next year.

    Hi Gill,

    I would like to thank you for the lovely apartment and facilities available to us during our stay at Nerja. So many times the destination has not lived up to photographs and descriptions, so this was pleasing. I found it very useful to have a washing machine in the apartment, as we were able to wash if necessary - rather than struggle.

    I was particularly pleased with the cleanliness of the apartment and the extra touches, including basics in the fridge.

    Having enjoyed the whole experience, we will be looking to book again in the future.

    Review of Apartment at Acapulco by Tony and Jenny J............
    "We visited the apartment in late March/early April, having selected it because we are familiar with Nerja and the Acapulaco block of apartments.
    There are several factors to be taken into account when considering this location:

    • It is ideally situated, being close to the town centre and The Balcon d'Europa
    • It is near several excellent restaurants, whether your choice is Spanish, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Indian.... or what!
    • It is close to good supermarkets for those who prefer to self cater
    • There is a wide range of all sorts of shops nearby
    • The apartment faces East, so gets morning sun – lovely for early breakfasts on the balcony overlooking the bay, the Balcon and mountains in the distance
    • As the sun moves round during the day the apartment enjoys shade which means that in very hot weather it will remain reasonably cool assisted if necessary by the air conditioning system which also doubles as a heating system if things turn a little cool in the early months of the year
    • Access for cases is easy by a lift and there are no security problems helped by a resident caretaker if required. The cleaners/carers are English so there is help available by phone if needed
    • The gardens and pool are lovely with views over the bay and beach. The pool is kept very clean with almost constant filtration
    • Several beaches are close by where sun beds can be hired by the day (8 euros each in 2010)
    • Access from Malaga airport is very quick and easy being about 45 mins and we recommend hiring a car at the airport from Helle Hollis who collect customers from the airport and have inexpensive good quality cars. There is limited parking at the apartments
    • Most importantly the apartment is well fitted out, including a washing machine. Cooking facilities are excellent and the standard of cleanliness is high. Beds are good, there being one double and two singles in a second (fairly small) room, but ideal for kids. There are good wardrobes in one of which is a safe – useful for the passports
    • Most local shops at last accept cards + PIN nos supported by a UK Driving Licence so no need to always carry passports
    • There is quite a lot of information in the apartment about events and places to visits. In particular Nerja is famous for its festivals.

    Finally, do try out your Spanish on the locals, they love it and will be very helpful, appreciating the effort!!"

    "HELLO OUR HOLIDAY APARTMENT WAS PERFECT. We have had a fantastic 2 weeks, it was so clean the sheets and towels were fab, everything was just perfect for us.     Fantastic, clean accomodation with beautiful views over pool and sea. It had everything we needed and was in a perfect location for both the old town, beach, restaurants etc. We did hire a car to see surrounding area but certainly would not necessarily need one due to the central location.
    The key for the car park made it perfect - no fighting to park on the street at the end of the day.
    We are already hoping to return next year after enjoying our first visit to Nerja.
    We took our two year old and seven week old baby - huge thanks to Gill for making the booking process so easy and the apartment perfect for our family holiday. Roll on next year!

    "We have just returned from our week-long stay in Nerja at the Acapulco Playa Apt # 27. I wanted to write to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. The apartment was ideal for our needs, and we appreciated all the extra touches - like the welcome pack, and the fact that you went to the trouble to purchase a new coffee maker for us. The whole process from booking (apart from the issue with my credit card company regarding the payment), to the airport pick up, drop off and everything in between was worry free and went like clockwork. Our experience with your company could not have been better. In fact, we have already recommended you to our family (in Ireland - they did enquire regarding availability for a week in July, but everything was booked), and will continue to do so. Please convey our thanks to Gill and the rest of the staff. We hope that we left the apartment in an acceptable condition."
