The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Families are particularly well catered for, with myriad attractions, restaurants and of course miles of beaches. Children are not just tolerated but welcomed by the friendly Spanish people. 
Despite the march of development, the area still has the ambience of Andalucía, the most `Spanish' of all regions and you do not have to venture far from your holiday home to encounter local ferias, fiestas and romerias - the scent of Jasmine is in the air, inexpensive wine is flowing freely- come and enjoy! 
 
 
 
Mijas Costa / El Chaparral, Mijas Costa area 
Situated in the prestigeous urbanisation of El Chaparral surrounded by the popular Golf Course with its lovely Clubhouse which has an excellent restaurant and hosts regular Dinner Dances. 
The quiet local village of La Cala has a very nice, child friendly beach front which is very clean and has wheelchair access right onto the beach and several children's play areas. There are several good, well priced beach restaurants and the village still preserves a Spanish identity.Right on the beachfront is an old "torre" or watchtower dating back to the 11th Century which houses an interesting museum with local relics and photos of the local area before it's development. There is a market in the village on Saturday mornings. 
If you are looking for somewhere more lively, nearby Fuengirola is the most family orientated of all the Costa del Sol resorts with a variety of children's attractions, including the ever popular Aqua Parque Mijas and Fuengirola Zoo , one of the most modern in Spain and well worth a visit even for adults. 
Fuengirola is lively in the summer and people congregate on the promenade in the evenings, you can see street artistes doing all kinds of art, including fantastic sand modelling and musicians performing. 
There are a wide variety of excellent restaurants with 3 course set menus for around 6-7 Euro and lots of bars from Chic to Karaoke at realistic prices. 
Head for iconic Sohail Castle on your way back, where you can stroll beside the sea with the beautiful backdrop of the castle lit up in the red glow of the sunset. 
 
In-expensive flights available via Easyjet- Jet2.com - Monarch - BMI- and many many more. Globespan now fly from Edinburgh. Flights to Malaga are no more than 2.5 - 3 hours from most of Europe

Further details indoors: This lovely villa has a spacious lounge decorated in Mediterranean blue and yellow. Colour TV with cable channels.There are some board games and a DVD player. Fantastic kitchen, beautifully tiled wall to wall, granite work surfaces and granite table with seating for eight. Also a fab American style double fridge with dispenser. A chef's dream! All the bedrooms are spacious with plenty wardrobe space and have their own bath or shower room. There is plenty room for a fold up bed or cot if necessary. The lower level bedrooms look out to the pool. Sea view from the large master bedroom. All rooms are air conditioned. Linen and towels are provided.

Further details outdoors: 
On ground floor entrance level there is a balcony with patio furniture for eight people so that you can enjoy dining al- fresco while enjoying the views to the Mediterranean Sea. 
The private pool is a good size with a paved sundeck with loungers for 6 provided. 
There is a floodlit Barbecue area beside the pool.

Deposit of 25% of rental charge due on booking (by credit card) along with Booking Form to secure reservation. Balance must be paid eight weeks prior to arrival. Refundable breakages deposit of 250euros required at the same time; to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). English-and Spanish speaking representative available locally. Due to the high maintenance costs, the villa is only booked on a minimum of a week basis but we are happy to accept bookings of any combination of days or weeks after this. Should you require additional cleaning or laundry or maid service during your stay it is vital that u let us know at the time of booking. Sorry No Animals.
