Quite simply stunning! New luxury Penthouse over 2 floors, furnished to a very high standard, three terraces, front line golf, set amongst cork groves in the hills of Elviria Alta. There are terraces with breathtaking view and situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty protected by UNESCO yet only 10 minutes from the nicest beaches in Marbella. The property is large with a total of 180sq metres plus 60 sq metres of terraces and has its own double secure parking area in the underground garage with automatic doors. There is an elevator giving direct access to the front door of the apartment. There are tropical gardens throughout the development with walkways and seating areas to enjoy the abundance of flowers, plants and incredible views. It is a fully gated development with entrance via video phone to the apartment.  
 
All the floors in the apartment are marble and each room has automatic shutters giving total blackout rooms for sleeping day or night. This prestigious address is for the more discerning traveller who wants a quiet, peaceful location surrounded by some of the best golf courses on the Costa Del Sol. Within the development is the golf course, 2 tennis courts, gym, restaurant/bar, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, mini shop, children’s play area and a choice of 5 pools all with changing rooms, toilets, showers, paddling pools and fabulous views.  
 
Elviria is a small community fast developing as one of the most prestigious addresses in the Marbella area and only 30 minutes from Malaga airport. It has a shopping area with supermarket and an Open car convenience store open until 2.00am each day, restaurants, bars, chemists and Banks. 
 
The master bedroom has a magnificent cathedral ceiling with large ensuite, fire place & dressing room. There are terraces on each side of the bedroom accessed by large patio doors with superb views. You can actually lie in bed & see the sun rise over the Mediterranean & enjoy amazing mountain views (in season you can see the snow on the Sierra Nevada mountains). All bedrooms have built in fully fitted wardrobes and recessed down lighting. The third bedroom has a small balcony to make use of the late sun. There is also a travel cot & baby high chair in the apartment.  
 
Snow Skiing, trout fishing, rock climbing, paragliding, shooting, fast go karting, potholing are all available 2 hours drive away or less. Trips to Morocco & Gibraltar are possible as a day trip. The kitchen has had extra cupboards installed together with granite worktops making the kitchen attractive & extremely functional with all appliance, dishwasher/washer/drier/microwave/juice maker & also a breakfast bar in the kitchen with stools.

  • The apartment is ideally situated for sight seeing. From the development there are many interesting walks in the hills giving a taste of real Spanish life. For the more adventurous there are further walks and a popular one is a walk to Cabopino with its own harbour. Here you can have a delightful lunch right on the edge of the harbour and then onto the beach before returning later to the apartment. Well recommended. For adults, there is the world famous Nikki beach bar and countless number of bars/retaurants catering for all tastes and budgets. For the children there are many parks, fairs, water parks, zoos, crocodile park etc For day visits, Ronda and Mijas are a must as is the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The magnificent cities of Cordoba, Grenade, Seville and also Gibralter are easily accessed. If you want peace and quiet with easy access to the hustle and bustle of the coast then this is the place for you.

  • For visits there is the glitz and yachts in Puerto Banus, shopping in Marbella, many markets, Ronda is a must as is Mijas and these are both typical Spanish towns. There are extenxive beaches with all the entertainment, restaurants, bars and shops you could ever wish for. There is fantastic water park, crocodile park, fairs, mountain chair lifts, many marinas, zoos etc which makes it a great place for kids.  
     
    For the adults you can party all night at some of the famous nightclubs such as the world famous Nikki Beach (which is 10 minutes away) and a huge selection of bars and nightclubs in and around Marbella/Puerto Banus. There is an abundant supply of restaurants catering for ALL tastes and budgets. 
     
    The apartment is located in the peace and quiet away from all the hustle and bustle of the coastline giving you the best of both worlds and really does cater for all the needs of a holiday to remember.

    A truly stunning property

    From the minute you open the front door, you know that you have made the right choice. You could not ask for more and I don't think a 5 star hotel would offer the luxuries that you receive at this property. The property is so spacious that you could easily accommodate two families without noticing each other! The master bedroom upstairs is a hidden gem, a fantastic escape from the kids or just a place to feel that you have deserved this pure luxury!
    The views are spectacular and the tranquility unbelievable, yet everything is close by if you need it. In fact when you visit one of the many swimming pools, (if you tear yourself away from the over sized balconies,) you forget that there are other people on the complex!
    The club house is a bonus and the restaurant serves reasonable but delicious food. The staff are so helpful and offer all the information that you may need.
    My family and I cannot recommend this property enough, we were very sorry to leave and out of all the different apartments we have stayed in, this certainly remains the top of the list. We also want to say a big thank you to Gary and Sue who helped to make our stay perfect.
    We hope we will stay again next year.

    Nice week in a very beautiful flat with a wonderful view.
    High level of equipment and lovely furnitures.
    El Soto golf is perfect to play golf, to do fitness, walking around.

    We had a brilliant 10 days and can't really add anything the other reviewers have already said it really is a lovely, comfortable, spacious very well fitted out apartment in a great setting.

    I found Gary very easy and pleasant to deal with and would certainly recommend it and hope to visit again soon.

    The apartment is lovely and very comfortable with enough space for our family during the Christmas holidays.
    We found everything very well done and loved having 3 complete bathrooms.
    Being handicapped it was great to have the garage and elevator close.
    You definitely need a car to go down the mountain to the beach. I found walking on the roads very difficult but the gardens and pool area are very accessible.
    The clubhouse has a nice restaurant and very helpful friendly staff who spoke English.
    Elviria is a cute little town with grocery shopping and pubs.
    We all had a lovely time.

    As regular visitors to El Soto, where we love the peace and quiet and beauty of the area, we would recommend this 3 bedroom penthouse. Beautiful views and equiped to a very high standard, the 42'' flat screen TV was a welcome distraction from the round the clock sunshine and we even caught a bit of Wimbledon! Next time we will even make time to try out the state of the art BBQ.

    We loved our stay in this very plush penthouse aparment, the views from the terraces is like a picture postcard. When we opened the door the first night we arrived, we were going around with our mouths open, no cheap furnishings here, everything was at hand, even a cooler bag for the beach. We had a person in a wheelchair in our party and it is 100% accessible, There is even an elavator 2 meters from the front door to bring you down to the garage with its electric door. Complex itself very peaceful and relaxing and a 25min drive to Marbella City centre. Loved it.

    Located on top of the hill, 15 minute drive to the beach, this condo/penthouse has forever views that you can sit out for extended time and relax. Visited with our twin babies, daughter, mother-in-law and grandparents and had plenty of room. We felt very safe and most people in Southern Spain spoke English. Having twin babies we had additional needs which were met including a crib/cot, high chair and a cleaning maid. Good central location and we were able to take day trips to Malaga, Rhonda and other costal areas. A car is a must and would recommend getting a GPS also (some of the roads don't match up well with the tourist books/directions). We definitely plan on coming back in a few years.

    I would definitely recommend this apartment. It is situated in a beautiful location with stunning views of the surrounding area. A real getaway!!
    The apartment is maintained to a very high standard and furnished to cater for all needs. The complex is very well maintained with lovely gardens and a number of fantastic swimming pools to choose from.

    I would thoroughly recommend this resort/complet/apartment to anyone looking to get away from Stress of living in a busy working/city life. This resort resort offers everything you are looking from a Holiday in the Sun and the facilities within teh aprtments are teh best I have ever come across in any Self-catering type of accomodation.

    The whole-setup together with the location is perfect and has to be seen to really appreciate it. If anyone wants to have that perfect holiday they wish to remember it and go regularly then this is definitely the place

    We stayed in this beautiful apartment in august 2007 and had a wonderful time. The accommadation could not be faulted.The complex is in a lovely location and is very well laid out with quiet corners to escape to and lots of pools for the kids to play in.There were 2 adults and two children in our party and we felt the enviroment was both safe and secure. A special mention to the people who run the golf club house as they were very friendly and most helpful.
    All in all a high quality apartment and a lovely holiday.

    What a great holiday. This was the first time we have spent time in Spain out of season and we were delighted with the results. The appartment is set in an excellent complex with plenty of well maintained gardens, facilities and stunning views. The appartment itself is first class, very comfortable and excellently presented. The local town of Elviria has plenty of restaurtants and is only a very short drive from the appartment. There are plenty of local attractions to see in the surrounding area and we enjoyed visits to the local beaches, the Alhambra in Granada, Marbella and the ski resorts in the Siera Nevada. The Owners Sue and Gary are very pleasant and easy to deal with and we are looking forward to a return trip in the near future.

    We have spent one week at Gary's apartment. At arrival the agent was waiting for us with the keys . The apartment was clean , very nicely furnished and a bottle of good red vine waited for us. The apartment quit with absolutely wonderful view to the see and to the local golf club. The distance from Elviria center exactly 11 minutes by car. We were very satisfied and we enjoyed very much staying there .We will go back again. The deposit was refunded without any problem. Highly recommended.

    A beautiful & spacious penthouse. Amazing views - you can see Gibralta and even Africa! So many pools to choose from and all different, beautiful gardens, wonderful clean facilities. Underground car park - no hot steering wheel! Even a lift to the apartment.Great walks from the aparment - orange & lemon trees galour! We were recommended this apartment and loved it that much we booked it again when we got home! Wonderful to be able to get away from the hustle and bustle, even though it is a short trip down the mountain - the best of both worlds!
    Very much all you could ask for, a home from home. We went with our young son aged 12 months and again when he was 2.

    A spacious, luxuriously furnished, immaculately presented duplex apartment situated high in the hills above Elveria. A wide variety of shops, restaurants and bars are a short drive away {Brown's in Elveria is great for brunch}. A car is essential.

    The apartment was superb, spacious, well equipped and with great views. The El Soto complex was also superb with such well maintained pools and gardens. It was also much quieter than most developments we have stayed at
    previously without the usual rush for sun beds in the morning.

    We were recommended to visit this property. It is a luxurious penthouse set in the hills in peaceful surroundings, in the middle of a nature reserve, yet only minutes from the hustle and bustle of the coast with its beautiful beaches. There are many excellent restaurants in the area. The all inclusive facilities are superb. The panoramic views of the mountains and coast are magnificent. In fact we enjoyed our stay so much we have now bought our own apartment within the development.
