Vacation Rental Description
A ground floor apartment offering very high standard accommodation. The site comprises well spaced low-rise blocks painted in warm terracotta tones, with the buildings themselves occupying only about a third of the development, so lots of open space. Impressive stone walling in huge blocks of the local red Casares stone, tropical gardens, green areas, and the pool/sunbathing areas lend an open and relaxed atmosphere to the complex. There is a choice of pools on site, each with a separate children's pool alongside, and paved sunbathing terraces with sunloungers and sunshades provided. 
 
The property itself is spacious and fitted to a high standard, and is light and airy, with cream marble flooring to the lounge and entrance hall, and cream ceramic tiling elsewhere. There are floor to ceiling tiles and large mirrors in both bathrooms, and showers in both bathrooms, with the added bonus of a bath and bidet in the en-suite. Both bathrooms feature shaving sockets. 
 
Double bedroom with full en-suite bathroom featuring bath with shower over, bidet, basin and w.c.; king size bed, with luxury memory foam mattress. Twin bedroom again with sumptuous memory foam mattresses. Family bathroom with shower, basin and w.c. Shaver points. Hairdryer. Fitted wardrobes with sliding doors, chests of drawers, bedside tables and lamps. Radio-alarm clock in double room. Ample storage space. A child's cot can be provided on request. Double layer curtains with voiles and drapes. 
 
Fully fitted and well appointed kitchen + laundry room with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, full electric oven, ceramic hob, large family size fridge-freezer, iron, ironing board, electric kettle, cafetiere, and toaster. Granite work tops. Ample crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils for 4 guests. 
 
Light, spacious and tastefully appointed lounge-diner with cream marble floors and contemporary furnishings. Dining table with 4 chairs, twin leather settees, coffee table, storage units, and occasional furniture; soft rugs, pictures and ornaments ensure a warm and welcoming feel. Flat screen t.v. with all the main English channels, CD/DVD player, surround sound. Full width sliding glass patio doors lead out onto the terrace. Double curtains with soft voiles behind the heavier drapes draw right across the window wall to ensure guest privacy and comfort, whilst security locks and gates have been fitted for your peace of mind. 
 
Ample terrace equipped with table, chairs, and sunloungers looks out across the lovely circular pool to the sea and mountains. The main photograph gives a good idea of the quiet and relaxing setting, a little away from the main coast road and small town of Sabinillas, yet with the Mediterranean and the sandy E.C.Blue Flag beach with its fish restaurant just a walk away. 
 
Full air-conditioning/winter heating is included to ensure your comfort. The apartment is prepared for your arrival, with beds made up and with towels provided. If a key has not been posted to you, then access is via a coded key safe by the front door, ensuring flexibility of arrival time, any time of day or night. A welcome pack can be provided on request. 
 
Malaga airport is about an hour away, via the E7 or toll motorway, and is served by a wealth of low cost flights from almost every UK and European airport. Gibraltar airport is 20 minutes away, and is served mainly by Monarch from the UK. Jerez is now also available as a third choice, due to the new fast road link, and is served mainly by the RyanAir/Stanstead route from the UK. 
 
Although public transport is available, car hire is highly recommended to enable you to maximize your enjoyment of this lovely part of the Costa del Sol. The owner is able to provide competitive car hire for you. Secure underground parking is available, accessed by electronic key (refundable deposit required). Otherwise onsite parking nearby.

  • Daily grocery needs may be obtained at the nearby garage, whilst the small town of Sabinillas is only 5 minutes by car, and offers several excellent supermarkets, cafes, bars, restaurants, etc. Its shops, bars and wide choice of restaurants can also be reached by a leisurely stroll along the beach. Carrefour on the outskirts of Estepona is 10 minutes away. *Broadband WiFi is now available free at the apartment.

  • Selwo Wildlife Park is very close by, and offers an excellent day out for all ages. Skiiing is at the Sierra Nevada mountains, a two hour drive away. The nearby port of La Duquesa offers numerous water orientated activities, including dolphin watching, waterskiiing and sea fishing trips. 
     
    Marbella is within 1/2 hour drive, offering high quality retail therapy; Gibraltar, 20 mins, is a tax free haven. 
     
    Numerous very high quality golf courses abound. Our site borders the prestigious 5* El Cortesin, now playing host to the World Matchplay Championships. Casares Golf is opposite our entrance, and Sotogrande, Duquesa Hills, Valderrama, San Roque, etc., are all within a 5 to 15 minute drive. 
     
    There is a superb and varied selection of restaurants around and about, including the tapas bars and sherry bodegas of old Estepona and Marbella, local pizza and pasta bars, Argentinean steakhouses, or the gourmet village of Benahavis in the hills.

    My husband and I have long had a love affair with Spain, and Andalucia in particular. However, 3 or 4 years ago we decided to relocate our holiday home on the Costa del Sol from the increasingly busy region nearer to Malaga and the airport, to this lovely area west of, but close to, the authentic Spanish town of Estepona. Here life for the visitor moves at a slower pace, and you seem to be absorbed into the general day to day activities of the local people, whether it be wining and dining in the wonderful choice of restaurants - and we are more than happy to recommend our own favourites - ambling through the ancient streets of the white "pueblos blancos", clinging to the mountain sides, or marvelling at the processions at the numerous fiestas, where young and old alike throw themselves wholeheartedly into the procedings. We sincerely hope that you too will thoroughly enjoy this delightful part of the Costa del Sol, returning at the end of each day to our welcoming and comfortable base, with its up to the minute furnishings, decor and equipment, choice of lovely pools for yourselves and children, and the enticing view of the sea.     A deposit of £100 per week is required upon confirmation of the booking. Balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure, either by cheque or automated bank transfer BACS. A fully refundable damages and key deposit of £200 is also requested prior to the stay. Refunded in full on safe return of the keys and provided the apartment is left in good order with no damage or breakages. If a booking is cancelled, then the £100 deposit will be retained. The owner will make every effort to relet the property for the cancelled period, but in the event that it cannot be relet, then all monies paid will be retained. We therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday cancellation insurance. Price is fully inclusive of bed linen and towels (except beach towels), heating or air conditioning as required, and final clean. 3 day breaks may also be taken out of season. Please enquire for details. Payment may also be made in euros.

    We have just returned from our second visit to Peter and Diana's apartment. The accommodation is first clas and now has the benefit of free WiFi. There is so much to do in the area that you could have several holidays here. If you decide to go yourselves I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

    Spent a great week here the first week of August. Apartment has everything you need including UK tv and WiFi. Pictures do not do this place justice. The owner, Diana, is also very helpful and great to deal with. The pools on-site are great with plenty of loungers and parasols - there are even toilets adjacent to each pool which are absolutely immaculate. Lots to do in the area. We went to Gibraltar for the day, parking on the Spanish side and walking across, Lots of lovely restaurants in the nearby villages and plenty of supermarkets as well. A trip to Ronda up in the mountains is also a must.

    Recommended for Age 55+, Romantic getaways, sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children, people with disabilities.

    Fantastic Holidays! Of all the apartments we have ever stayed in, in this area, this is by far the best - excellent furnishings, clean and airy, everything you could wish for to make your holiday relaxing. The complex has wonderful gardens and fantastic pools, with all the areas being cleaned and tended constantly.

    I would recommend this for families, sightseeing, and those wanting a quiet break. We will definitely return regularly.

    Peter and Nina, 2 month stay, January and February 2011.

    A great 7 week holiday. We felt the furnishings and thought put into the accommodation was very good. The gardens were really nice and relaxing. The location was great with easy access to places of interest. We were never bored and really enjoyed riding our bikes along the coast road from San Pedro.

    There are problems with many developments with both the construction and work not completed. This did not spoil this holiday.

    Recommended for age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with children, families with teenagers, people with diabilities.

    September/October 2010. We have recently returned from our 2 weeks in Peter and Diana's apartment. The property was even better than expected. All the information they supplied was accurate and very helpful. There is a lot to do in the area although a car is essential. The views from the balcony are exceptional and it was a pleasure to return to the apartment after being out all day. I have since spoken diectly with the owners to thank them personally and we shall certainly be returning in the future. I'm sure anyone renting this apartment would not be disappointed.     My husband and myself have long been enchanted with Spain - its towns, its villages, its coast and above all, its people. Our first holiday home was a villa in Fuengirola, which we ourselves improved considerably, and added the all important pool. It let like a dream, but we came to realize that a less hectic pace of life to that area of the Costa del Sol was what we really yearned for, and so took the decision to buy our lovely apartment just west of the more authentic town of Estepona.

    Here life moves at a slower pace, the cafes, restaurants and beaches truly belong to the local community, and you are easily absorbed into the local way of life, be it in the shops and restaurants, of which the people are justifiably proud, or whenever a fiesta explodes into life, with the processions, costumes, music and even fireworks. You are never made to feel an intruder, but are always accepted and welcomed as part of the community, particularly if you are able to try out a little of your Spanish, or if you have a small child to add a sparkle to their day.

    So please feel welcome to make our apartment your base for your Spanish experience. On our part, we have endeavoured to make it as comfortable and relaxing as possible, with a bright interior, contemporary furniture, furnishings, and fittings, and an enticing view of the pool and sea. We have a meticulous local "help" who will ensure that it is prepared to exacting standards, a real home from home, and the accommodation that you deserve.
