"The word stunning simply does not do this property any justice. From the moment the electric gate first went back it took our breath away. The owners showed us around what had once been their family home and made us feel so welcome. The villa itself is stylish and sophisticatedly appointed while still feeling homely. We hardly stepped out of the grounds such was our pleasure at staying there but when we did we found Coin a lovely town with some nice bistros. Not far into Mijas and Marbella if you fancy a night out."

"Myself, my family and our friends spent the middle of August at this villa. The villa is fantastic and is set in lovely landscaped gardens complete with palm trees and water feature (not to mention the salt water pool). The villa was spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. It had all the amenities you would require, and a kitchen with allsorts of appliances and gadgets. There was a lovely shaded patio complete with a gas bbq (which we did the majority of our cooking on) and beer fridge!. The master bedroom was fantastic, large enough to fit in a huge bed from which you had a floor to ceiling view of the rolling hills to wake up to in the morning, the ensuite was the size of my bedroom at home complete with an all singing jacuzzi bath for two as well as a large shower unit. The villa is situated a short drive from Coin which is a village with shops, tapas bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc. We tried two restaurants just a short drive away which were both good, one was a bbq style place and the other an unusual Africa themed eatery - both really nice. We visited many of the surrounding villages, waterparks, and beaches - all within 30-40 minutes drive. Maggie & Rafael the owners could not have been more helpful and kind, they helped us organise local horseriding and were on hand to help out with any questions/directions etc. I have stayed in self-catering accommodation for most of my main holidays and what sets this villa apart is the personal attention that the owners have paid not only to the comfort of their guests but to the guests themselves and their desire for all who stay at the villa to have a good stress-free holiday. I would certainly visit this villa again 10/10. Thanks Maggie & Rafael, hopefully see you soon!"

"We have just returned from a 10 day vacation at Casa Margarita with another family (7 of us in total) and had a total chilled out holiday. The villa was as good as the owners description and had all we needed !! The pool was different being salt water but was far better than your standard chlorine dosed norm and the kids were never out of it. The villa was spacious & clean and Maggie was the perfect host and more than happy to be contacted at any time for help and advice. We had a "come dine with me night" which tested the kitchen and utensils and it had everything right down to the dish washer (we won of course, unlucky Wendy and John, Luke and KB). Coin town has everything you need and the food shopping is very cheap at the local Lidol or Mercadona supermarket which is no more than 10 min drive. Restaurants are plentiful and well priced, we found only one English eatery in Coin called Peters Place (well recomended)through Coin on the left before La Trocha centre, there are also chinese and indian restaurants. Maggie arranged for the girls to go horse riding through the hills with a british run family business (ride-with-me) and the Lads went fishing at Lake El Dorado(literally 5 mins from the Villa) again run by an ex-pat called Mike and was really good as you can hire the equipment. Obviously a car is essential as nothing is really within walking distance but there is plenty within half hour driving. Puerto Banus was the easiest beach to get to which was approx 30 mins drive but will improve once the new road is finished. Maggie had just bought a gas BBQ which we used everyday and we ate on the Patio which was good as you could open and close the roof depending on the weather. There are two good restaurants on the MA-3033 (come out of villa and turn left on to the main road) La Bomba on the left(BBQ) and a general spanish a la carte on the right which are both at the first island and approx 5 miles away. To sum this holiday up, it was the perfect chill out helped by the fact that the Villa was fully equipped and perfect, Maggie could not do enough to make sure we had a great holiday and I would highly recomend this to anyone wants an easy relaxing holiday in comfort with added privacy and a personal touch."

"We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at beautiful Casa Margarita. The villa is private, spacious (there were 8 of us), very clean, well equipped (lots of towels) and furnished to an extremely high standard. We did not want to leave!
The gardens are extensive and we loved the huge salt water pool which was only mildly salty and felt really good on our skin. Much nicer than chemicals and chlorine. The garden and pool were well maintained during our stay.
The large outdoor eating area had an electrically operated "cover" so could be in sun or shade and the large garden parasols provided a lot of shade also when needed.
The villa is well placed for sight seeing and we visited quite a lot of the area. The coast is about 25 mins away but a new road is almost completed which will halve this time.
The owner, Maggie, lives nearby and is very welcoming. She is always at the end of the phone to help with anything.
I have no hesitation in recommending Casa Margarita and I know you will enjoy your holiday here."
