Calahonda is an attractive small urbanisation just 25 minutes south of Malaga airport, nestling on the side of a hill overlooking the ocean. Our villa is in a quiet residential dead end street with spectacular views of the ocean and the mountains behind. The nearest beach is a 5 to 10 minute drive away, or if you prefer it a 20 minute walk. There are restaurants and Supermarkets in the urbanisation but for more varied shopping, the La Cañada Shopping Mall is around 10 minutes drive away. The Costa del Sol is one of the best destinations in Europe, offering a wonderful climate, plenty of beaches, golf courses, water parks, water sports, shopping, restaurants and night life as well as a plethora of places to visit all within easy reach. Amongst many other opportunities, you can choose from visits to Mijas, a charming old Spanish village high up on the hillside, Ronda an hour away up in the mountains with its spectacular views and charming ambience, beautiful Marbella and Puerto Banus with its harbour full of luxury yachts, the Rock of Gibraltar – a touch of old England and a fascinating place to see with its caves and monkeys - and also Morocco, taking a hi speed boat across the Mediterranean to places like Tangier or Ceiba – a chance to see another world just a few minutes ride away from the southern tip of Europe. Granada, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada is only an hour and a half away on easy dual carriageways and offers Moorish palaces and Christian Renaissance treasures. Other local attractions include the Zoo at Fuengirola, Sea Life at Benalmadena, Selwo Adventure Park, Dolphin Safaris, Spanish Ballet and Flamenco Dancing.  
 
The villa is tastefully furnished, using carefully selected colours and fabrics. There are three bedrooms (each sleeping two), two at the back with garden and sea views and sharing a bathroom, and the master at the front with its own en-suite bathroom. A large lounge with dining area and a fully fitted/equipped kitchen complete the A child friendly terrace gate leads you down some easy steps into the attractive secluded garden with shrubs and trees and a sloping lawn leading down to the oval pool. There is a covered barbecue and dining area in a corner of the garden and, at the front of the house a cool terrace with small table and chairs. Next to that, a spiral staircase leads up to a small and private roof terrace.  
 
Should you require it, airport pick-up and a welcome pack (food supplies/tea/coffee etc) can be arranged in advance, both for a small charge. Our Management Company is also close by to assist you if needed.

"Having just returned from Casa Bunji (3rd - 10th April 2010) we would all like to state that it really is a lovely villa, with everything you need within walking / taxi distance (depending on personal preference I suppose). The Villa is as described, but the pictures do not do it justice, it is much nicer in reality. The best feature is without a doubt the large garden, swimming pool, BBQ area and not to mention the solarium on the roof (yes you can sunbathe on the roof, its awesome!) We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were disappointed that we were not staying for longer. We would all definitely recommend the villa, Casa Care and the owner of the villa to anybody. Communication was prompt at all times and all questions answered. We found the villa "guide book" very useful, detailing plenty to do within the local areas. The Villa is equipped with a TV, Sky box, DVD player, hi-fi / CD player and an ample supply of books to keep you entertained should the weather not. This villa comes highly recommended, and we would all return tomorrow if we could. Many thanks to villarenters, Casa Care and the owner of Casa Bunji for an enjoyable holiday.”

“The villa was exactly as described in the web info as were the facilities in the nearby area. The air conditioning was certainly needed especially during the first week. The beach at Calahonda is best given a miss but just next door is Cabopino which is perfect for small children as the beach slopes gently into the sea and is protected by the sea wall. Would definitely recommend the villa and the area of Mijas Costa”
