Fully equipped house in peaceful gated complex of 28 houses with beautiful well maintained gardens. It was love at first sight!!!!!!! As we walked through the coded entrance gate we were immediately overawed by the beauty of the gardens and the typical Andalusian style houses. We didnt want a very confining apartment(probably with just a balcony) so we were amazed at the feeling of roominess with front garden, back terrace, solarium and three levels. Very peaceful and private but still just 3 minutes walk to all amenities. Loved Spanish look and furniture and beautiful gardens overlooking the child friendly swimming pool. No need for car as well stocked supermarkets, excellent restaurants, lively bars and shops close. Relax over breakfast on terrace. Feel safe in gated community. It is a real home from home as most needs are provided free. Spotlessly clean and with management company on site. On street parking. Security safe.

Calahonda has a safe sandy beach within walking distance with many other beautiful beaches nearby at La Cala, Capopino Port and Elviria,all within 5 minutes drive.
GOLF
-----
No shortage of top quality courses from Malaga to Gibraltar all within easy reach.
Calahonda has its own 9 hole course.
Golf can be arranged through booking agents along the coast. All are listed on internet.
SKIING
------
For winter lets skiing is available in Sierra Nevada from early December to end April.
Only 2 hour drive away so with an early start you can enjoy a day's skiing and still be home for dinner and nightlife.
For hire of skis, boots,poles and purchase of lift pass the cost is approx. 55 EUROS p.p.
SPORTS
------
Club Del Sol in Calahonda is only 5 minutes drive away. The Club offers tennis, paddle and squash courts and also a gymnasium. No need to be a member as you can pay and play.
Bowls club in nearby Miraflores.

We love sun, sea, sand, sangria etc.!!!!!
We are a couple in our 50s who are both working in jobs where we are constantly dealing with customers. We have a family of 3 children who are now in their 20s. They love going to La Paloma with their children and friends.
It was love at first sight!!!!! As soon as we walked through the main entrance gate we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the gardens and the typical Andalusian style houses. We did not want a very confining apartment, probably with just a balcony, so we were amazed at the amount of space in the house with front garden, back terrace, roof solarium and 3 floor levels. The house felt really homely and our then teenage children thought it was ideal. The complex was beautiful with both the gardens and houses well maintained. It was very peaceful and private but still only 3 minutes walk to all amenities i.e. restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shops etc. The neighbours were very friendly, welcoming and so helpful.
We love the Spanish look and charm and the beauty of the gardens. We can watch our family while they swim as we enjoy a nice cuppa or a glass of vino in our front garden. We never need the car as all amenities are within walking distance. We love walking on the beach which is only 10 mins. walk away. We spend every morning on the back terrace having a relaxing breakfast. We enjoy lovely views from our front garden and the solarium. We feel so safe as it is a gated complex. Our children love going there (even with us) as they can lose us by sunbathing on the solarium/pool while we enjoy our own space!!!! BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!!!!!!!
