Vacation Rental Description

The Apartment is close to all of the local amenities, including two small mini-markets. The sea front promenade is 100 metres away. There are a number of local bars and restaurants, including two that overlook the two pretty marinas located at each end of the promenade. For livelier nightlife and a wider range of shops, Garrucha (9km), Mojacar Playa (14km) and Vera (5km) are a short drive away. There are a number of large supermarkets in the area, the closest is just 5 minutes away by car near Vera Waterpark.
The Apartment is tastefully furnished and well equipped to ensure you have a comfortable stay. The lounge area has ceiling fans, colour TV (with UK “freeview” channels), a video and CD music system with a connection for your MP3 player.There is an outside covered terrace, leading through a gate onto the pool area and sun terrace. There are additional sun terraces around the roof, with views to the sea. There are two bathrooms (one en-suite shower, one bath with shower) and two bedrooms (one double, one twin) both with ceiling fans. The apartment has a fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle & washing machine. There are plenty of pots and pans for those wishing to self-cater. The Apartment sleeps up to four adults. Bedding and towels are included in the letting price, with the exception of beach towels.

This well appointed ground floor Apartment is within a small privately owned development, named “La Fortaleza” (“strength”), in the heart of Villaricos. The complex benefits from a swimming pool and large roof terraces with sea views. The complex has been designed with a Moorish feel to reflect the history of the area. There is car parking at the front and rear of the complex. The Apartment is close to all of the local amenities, including two small mini-markets. The sea front promenade is 100 metres away. There are a number of local bars and restaurants, including two that overlook the two pretty marinas located at each end of the promenade. Villaricos has several small beaches, the best sandy beach is just a few minutes walk away at the southern edge of the village. It has a “chiringuito” (beach bar) selling drinks and food.
There are many more beaches just a short drive away, including: -
· San Juan de los Terreros – excellent gently shelving beaches ideal for children, 14km North.
· Vera Playa – a long, wide sandy beach, 5km to the South.
· Mojacar Playa – long sandy beach lined with restaurants and bars, 14km South.
Parque Aquatico Waterpark is located on the road to Vera, only 5 minutes drive away.
There are PADI registered SCUBA diving schools in Villaricos.
There are four main golf courses within a short drive.
Mini Hollywood (near Tabernas) recreates the magic of the Wild West at the site where many classic films were shot such as “A Fistful of Dollars” There are horse riding and gunfight shows daily. There is also a zoo and a swimming pool to cool off!

Prices are in UK pounds sterling per week, not per person! Rates are negotiable for long-term winter rental. A supplement of £25 per week applies for Easter, Christmas, New Year. Discounts may apply for short notice bookings – Ask!! A deposit of 30% required to secure booking, the balance is due 30 days before departure, together with a £100 breakage deposit. If you need to change your holiday dates we will endeavour to assist. In the event of a cancellation, the following cancellation charges will apply: - More than 30 days: 30% 14 – 30 days: 50% less than 14 days: 100%
